    nah no semi's for you english guys sorry..dont expect anything exciting from the group stages in a world cup guys they are just to seperate the good fro the sh!t, with the occasional dark horse thrown in. the second round(knockout) is where it all starts. horns are slightly annoying mind i do agree. I was expecting african drums etc to be filling the stadium, not horns.lol

    At the end of the day guys and girls of the vr6.oc however much satisfaction you get from eeking out extra mpg and get a sense of achievement getting an extra few, look at the effort put in to get it,...yet the smiles and excitement you get by giving it some welly is effortless in a vr6. Do we drive VR's to watch the mpg or to watch unsuspecting people unaware of what one is dissappear into little dots in your mirror as you smile and get that warm feeling inside. ...if your answer is mpg(im very suprised.lol) there is always the 1.4 option with a loud exhaust to make it sound fast.lol Truth b

    Slightyly off thread again Rustyman, thats a mighty fine arse u got there <-------------------- ha ha I think they need to be challenged on occasions if you know yhour right as too many people just take whats dished out. Heard on the radio the other morning that most police dept's across the uk have in the last 9 years been using incorrect legistrations to fine and get people convicted of things. No doubt that will include driving convictions etc. So if you have had a run in with the ol' 50 in last 9years might be woth checking out as they said people wrongly done are entitled to compo....a

    Hey all, i have heard that standard 1.9 diesel engine + gear box mounts fit and are tougher than standard vr6 mounts....is this true??? cheers

    Thanks Mr Parky,hmmm so not really a smart option then?? just replace like for like??? i was wondereing whether they would have been a bit stronger also with the mk4 being a bit bigger and heavier? Cheers dman,but i was looking to poly bush. Got quite bit to do on her and wanted to change wishbones and polybush, but buying mk3 arms then cutting out new bushes for poly's is a waste of the pounds coins at the mo, so the mk4 option was basically to save the cost of new arms, so if i got to get mk3 ones i will just eave the standard bushes in for now. Much appreciated though!!!!

    Iv been toying with the idea of flat paint,shine is nice but i do like flat/matte. I dd see a corrado vrt rattle can karkhi (is that spelt right,lol...basically army) green, on deep rims in mat white....looked so good. Dan....go flat rattle can made mate and show us the outcome..i will definately be interested to see!!!! Oh i'll take this oppertunity to vote 'go 5 door' again.lol

    Tbh i dont dislike 3 doors at all, they do have that sportier looking edge yeah!?!...but im kinda into 5drs, used to have a 5dr escort gti which looked so much nicer in 5 guise. I now have 5drs on the vr...i think you can look at a 3 door and say that looks sporty, look at a nicely modded 5 and and say that looks smart/stylish/clssy what have you. Think maybe it looks a bit more grown up, if you get me. Stick with her!!

    HI guys, iv a scorpion cat back, 2 box(suitcase as referred to,lol and back box) came on the car when bought it. Its twin upturned (DTM style) pipes maybe 2 1/2 - 3" each,if im honest from the beginning i wasnt keen on the back box,just seems typical 90's after market box for the mark 3 if you get me. Anyway thats looks. Sound wise i'd say quite a nice muffled growl with the v6. My vr is daily and i strangly find it different volumes on different days,...different weather/air densities poss??? some days gives a lovely note under all speeds,even when flying,sounds fast...other days,alot of noi

    Hi, hope everyone is well and enjoyed their vr6's in the sun last week!! As the title says, mark4 wish bones, look the same as mark 3...are they though,do they fit,ok to use,or not...any info!?? ta Basically, brother in law just said on phone he has two mark4's lying round in garage, he can strip,clean spray,so i can poly bush...rather than buy. thanks guy!!

    Hey, just read this post,...thought have a quick look whats on the uk version of a popular auction site,lol,... there's a decent looking manifold on there from the US t-304 stainless steel, 6-2-1 design, 1 1/2" primary tubes and 2.25" outlet, wkith gaskets and bolts.....£84.99 +30p&p Sounds alright!?!?!

    I checked my local gsf for a load of parts, they give you their price and main dealer price,....my print out showed GSF cheaper for pads but actually more expensive for discs. Bit of shopping about if your a bit short of cash buddy.

    Just had a peek at this out of a little bit of interest, seen you comment binliner and that is spot on,...i was thinking months ago why are washer jets on the bonnet of cars should maybe be on the wiper arms so they cover the window as they wipe!! thats superb mate and something im guna check out. If you can put anymore info up thats great!!!

    Looking good, really liking how the engine bay has come on without going crazy like relocating battery etc and cutting and shaving. is that an R8 oil cap too???
