    ...was it that even after waking to a frosty morning and scrapping a thin layer of ice off the windows of the car, it was then possible to drive to and from work with the windows down, (without the heaters on too lol) and enjoy the drive. With that bit of sun, bit of warmth(well mildness) and some tasty tunes,which as its sunny and windows down you just have to crank it up a little notch, makes it seem a little less like rush hour huh!!!? Or was it just me feeling that!?!?!...ha ha

    Leon fella that would be brilliant. I cant find any play in wheel's or steering. Its the pull to the left thats driving me nuts!!! I noticed the other day or i think i did, walking towards the car on a flat road and thought the left front wheel 'looked' like it was tilting out at the top??? let me know how your's goes as soon as you do it. ta

    Well lets hope your back to full health soon. Hmmm...bloody typical after my little rant at the beginning of my thread i added another bit saying stay safe or stay lucky,....seems neither happened in your case fella(maybe lucky it wasnt worse)... does it mean i jinxed you and am partly responsible,lol oh dear. Like i said hopefully you'll be all good soon. Their turn one day, amybe not from you but someday, someone!!

    Think its safe to say guys and girls that its a manic place out there on the roads, only to get worse im sure,....savour the thought though that you and other vr6 owners have the power in the right foot to get you out of the shit or that one in the middle that we may not like to use as much, but when you do a decent stopping power!!! Stay safe....or stay lucky!!! ha ha

    Here Here!! dam right!!!!!! And dont get me started on the point of people losine the ability to drive when snow,ice or even heavy rain hits...dear god alive.!!! The state alot of drivers out there is just beyond. Oh and why do people not have the ability to go AROUND a round about that maybe has 3 lanes but NO WHITE LINES, you go AROUND, thats AROUND not cut across all lanes!!!! and every other car on there.

    Ok bit of a rant that imsure has been done to death but, earlier had some stupid, (do i have to watch what i say on this site) shall we say 'mofo' in a big merc earlier. At a set of lights i look to my left and see a merc creeping forward, he smiles in acknowledgement, so i just nod in reply. Green...off we go leisurely pace he's along side me, he's approaching traffic im not all clear my side thank you, no indicator at the mo. I carry on down my clear lane when he slows and cuts in behind me with a flash of his lights. Thought not much of it, that he prob wanted in but he didnt indicate and t

    Im getting the rant and its one that can go on and on, im seeing your point B7D VR too!! Some oap's are switched on. i think this system shouldnt be agest though as there are so many bad drivers on the road of all ages its unreal, its quite scary the fact that you only have to drive well on one day, the day of you test and then you can do what the hell you like!!

    Hmmmm just read all the way through this thread, first off i have to echo some peoples comments, absolute madness to use vw main dealers, infact not just vw, anyone using any main dealer its suicide,lol money hand over fist, especially for fitting etc. If in fact the jobs actually get done(not saying all main dealers are like that but i wouldnt like to go to the expense to find out the good en's).lol Noticed your pull to the left which is what im experiencingplus a knock on one side on full lock, off the top of my head i thought wishbones, maybe replace drop links to, some others have added t

    Hi, Experiencing car pulling to the left, not just under drive but under braking too, also if just rolling slowly to stop. Had tracking/wheel alignment done. Also experincing a rather loud knock on full lock, generally on left hand down(left lock) when reversing into a space etc. At first assumed front left associating it with above problem, but seems to be actually the right front that knocks. When pulling back out of space full locking to right bit of a knock again. bit of movement in steering wheel when knock occurs. Also...lol(it is a good car in good condition, honestly,just these issues
