  2. Craig...more dog cooking!??!?! ha ha You need to be careful cooking one fella,...did you hear about the dog that jumped on a fire!?!?....it went WOOFFFF!! ha ha ha...not good to laugh at own jokes but love it(please dont make me explain anyone it gets lost in translation sort of thing...funnier when said with the action.lol)
  3. Nice one!! Oh and no worries tony, advise should be considered from many people but also set in your mind what you want as ultimately its you that needs to be happy in your work....toooo many of us go to work to be shafted by someone else....for what exactly!?! then just complain about it and role along in the machine that is the routine of working life.lol But be prepared to learn your own lessons from mistakes too...its all learning.. my mates and i joke when on a night out or planning a night out(which i must say is rare i dont go out anymore .lol)....'live the dream!' ....go tony...go liv
  4. ha ha tony and craggsy, its like a comedy duo.... nice touch withe the part numbers,...was like booom!!! half expected a come back of how many turns or what torque to use.lol
  5. Tony...i dont know you from adam(who is adam anyway...lol) but your name has cropped up with some issues iv questioned vr6 wise(like chains and tensioners, been told to chat with you). But if im willing to contact you, which i been meaning to, off the back of a couple people mentioning you that cant be bad. Thats word of mouth reputation...i tell you now, no amount of advertising, expense to advertise etc can buy that. I know i had my own business. Good work get repeat custom and new. I tell you, my vr6 is a daily, im desperate for jobs to be done but waiting on brother in law(machanic)...if yo
  6. ha ha sounds fun....whats working on a car with out bumps and scratches and stuff then getting grease in them!!! ha ha
  7. its the rear drivers side is the culprit, thats why i mentioned child safety. Anyway small price to pay for having it working on the button from a cable tie.lol
  8. Not yet hvr6,i just assume clutch need replacing as biting point is so low...gears a bit crunchy, like i siad not a bad crunch or anything but you ntice the effort to change. PAul i have read a bit about that bloody white clip snapping etc...pedal isnt as far down as those cases but i shall check never the less!! Whats a genuine clutch retail at approx??
  9. Yet another cry for help or plead for advise...but thats what your here for huh!!!??! Clutch pedal dropped down to around about half way,can lift with toe to bring to top (clicks 3 times), put any pressure and drops o halfway. Biting point is as good as on the floor. Shifting isnt as smooth,...sometimes a mission to select 1st if not thinking about it, very slight crunch or grind on gear changes(not massively but you can feel resistance). power wise, wouldnt really say noticed slipping but sometimes sluggish...someyimes very quick. So gang...clutch? time to replace or something more or less of

  13. h and paul does the misses window...once put all the way down(which it does in one go if held like the fronts. Doesnt go all the way up on its own id imagine for child safety reasons!?!..however a window that drops all the way isnt child safe anywho.lol)...on putting the window up does it touch the top and then automatically drop to half way down???(once its done this once, take it to the top it stays.)....mine does now...lol bizarre. I even stripped it back down ligtnening quick full of cofidence, put the motor all the way down back up,to half way down, lol then back up and then reffited hoping
  14. Oooo gav that gives me encouragment...if i can save on that then money towards chains etc...which im gutted need doing. Paul a re-build...what in epic preportions like yours...im thinking not as i popped the hood (ooo how american.lol) hand a look around the chain area...thinking,with a weekend and the thread and online help of this i can do the chains and clutch....seeing all the stuff on that side to come out etc....maybe not...lol leave the epic building to you and the hardcore crew. Today....using a thread off here (thats where the thanks vr6.oc comes in) i fixed my back passanger window. Window slightly drop have to pull up manually...bit annoying. Anyway used the fixing window regulator thread! Says its a bit ghetto using bit of rubber and cable tie..but hey....cost £0 Did all the stripping down of the door panel, etc etc...to find.....a bloody piece of wood proping window up.....a piece of wood....picture rail at that...if c

Hmm i cant sign this anon can i!?! lol
