Oh forgot to add JSRaid coilovers too. Doesnt say damper adjustable, all the spiel written up sounds quite impressive but then thats what its supposed to do,draw you in.lol if you got 2 mins take a peak on the old ebay search 'vw golf vr6 mk3 coilovers' only throws 7 or 8 up -

See the hottuning ones i spotted are like 180 odd quid, free delivery, fully adjustable, 3 years warranty....but not heard of hottunning coilovers before, fk yes, thats basically why im putting the feelers out. Obv like to go more expensive but when you look at 180 i prob couldnt really get standard springs, shocks etc for much less. -

sounds like it,....in fact a couple hundred on coils now sounds a bit sorry.... lol how do you find the fk's though?? -
Ive a silver mark 3 vr,...now if you like silver...cool, im a bit on the fence with silver, reason being... i think it definately suits some makes and models of cars,...but i refer to it as 'safety silve'r...because.. new cars now,..people choose black and silver(also white now as 80's concept is back,i was going to rock white paint a few years back,,money held me back, i wish i had back then.lol...trend setter.ha ha). Salesman says what colour would you like,red,blue,orange,yellow,green....nope i best stick with silver.lol Nothing wrong with either black or silver but have you noticed at sets

Hey y'all, making a bit of a list of things to do on the '6',...at the mo more a list of needs than wants, like, poly bushes, drop links, ball joints(to stiffen and sure up front end...feeling not all great to me) bearings, discs, pads all round. As im sure your aware, even though the mark 3 bits and bobs are too badly priced, its all adding up.. One thing i do want to try get on the 'want' list is coileys,..thinking if im doing all the above now's the time. Now obviously with £££'s adding up i cant go for the more desirable weitec, spax, avo etc so, doing a bit of looking on a popular auction s -

Wheels odd sizes front & back ...legality
Special K 81 replied to Rustyman's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
They refer to it a 'Rake' i believe, it gets done with hot rods and such like, the bigger and smaller the wheels(back/front) the bigger the rake...pretty sure its legit. -
Had jessica - due to reg plate JESS, Renee - a renault van....not my choice to have a renault was work,lol...few others Although usually cars are female names i had a red escort GTi called...Robert.....Robert RedFord...boom boom...couldnt help it. The VR is nameless at the mo apart from it get called The Hurt Locker, due to a few insidences with pigeons etc,...unintentional but i dont think they judge the pace of a vr for some reason :oS

Ha ha, its all a load of b*locks though to catch you out. Personally i think if your taking it easy just chilling and you kind of feel you have to push it because your being kinda egged on and you blast off on a good run and its a cop, when they pull you they should give you a pat on the back in respect of the car and send you on your way with a use hte right boot wisely young man and have a good day....unless of course your in something that just has a huge exhaust posing to be something with performance. ha ha

Special K 81 replied to Special K 81's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
More sound advice, thanks nigel!!! will be trying this too, although would you recommend a mate less favourable than a best friend in case it goes wrong, lol maybe an aquaintence rather than friend....mwAHHH haa haa-thats my evil laugh btw. The tracking was done over 6 months ago when 2 front tyre's changed. Tyres fitted by bro in law, tracking/alignment done by NATIONAL TYRES if im honest i dont know enough about them as i dont use kwik fit type tyre places etc but the garage my bro in law works at send their clients cars up the road to them to track and i got it done for a tenner.
