    Stance

All he has to do is add spacers to make them flush. You can set air ride to what ever level you want.

    Stance

if you redrill the hubs though then you got to space them out cos my wheels would sit 30mm in at the back otherwise. I still wouldnt say ^^ was stanced. My idea of stance is minimal arch gap whether it be on coiles or sat on the rim using air. but the wheels have be placed perfectly rather than just tucked (unles its air cooled stance, which is tuck, but you can always tell the difference between tuk that was meant and tuk that was just as is)

    Stance

I would take time but i dont thik it would take as much if your trying to get it perfect with the arches. The owner of that doesnt have to worry about what tyres sizes or offset to run incase it catches cos what is it going to catch on? he could run what ever he wants. It took me ages to decide what size adapters to get. constant emails to people, forum searching for what width wheels and ETs people are runnign ands getting picture sot see how it sat in the arches. Ive got it satin looking pretty good but im getting them machine down a few mm cos I want them slightly in, Surely he doesnt have

it does look aggressive and efinately got presence. but for me its not stance. take the wings off any car and you could run the widest or most skinny ever if you wanted and you wouldnt have to worry about spacing them out cos what have you got ot space them out towards?

    Stance

if I see a car running dreaded saxo stance (reverse rake), its an instant fail. front wheels shouldnt poke more than the back wheels I wouldnt say that was "stanced", I would just say it was low

We all have different ideas of stance. someones perfect stance isnt for another person Post pics of cars that are STANCED anyone can whack on coilies and get their car low but it takes true effort for stance
  7. Cheap way of doing it The two bolts that are connected to the bototm of the coilies, if you undo those you can play wiht camber. im running -2.4 on the front last time I had it measured.
  8. Im not a fan of arch gap. The least arch gap the better for me. If done correctly you can get it as low as possible and still take it everywhere. But its not as simple as just bolting on wheels and winding coilies down as low as they can go. Theres alot of number crunching to do to work out ET, width of the wheels and tyre sizes. I had the front arches sat just above the rim protector and it very rarely caught. the backs weremnt sat quite as low but it very rarely caught.
  9. his username is geo7087 (members ride section) mystic blue and polished comps will work, so will satin black comps. Camber the fronts a bit and it can easily go lower.
  10. but then isnt your car just low? low is not stance! if i didnt have my arches rolled, my arches would be constantly on the tyres and i wouldnt be as low as i am now cos the wheels would have to sit in more. ANYONE can make wheels tuk its whether you can make it look good tucked. you could have the best wheels in the world, but having ill correct stance will make the overall finish look gash.
  11. got your arches rolled? you cant stance properly if not cos they have quite a bit lip and most wheels will catch on non rolled arches. Might have to trim the arch liner doww a bit aswel. D90s come in 7s, 8s and if your lucky 9s. but being porsche they are very adaptor friendly as they have a high offset however unle you go for massive adaptors then 7s tuck no matter what. D90s do look good but very cliche on a mk3.... Geo on here had TTs compe and it sat quite nice.
  12. guard dog to sit in the passenger seat and look all aggressive few marbles around the car haha sorted
  13. Did anyone last year have problems touching/leaning against the car? Remember reading a thread on ED38 about people touching the paint, leaning on the cars and opening doors, bonnets, bootlids for a look and pics!
  14. 205s will be fine on them, unles you space them out, which I'd advise for the rear ans they sit quite far in. Falkens tend to give the most stretch iut of most tyre brands. If you space them you'll have to get the arches rolled. What's brakes you running?
  15. Are BMCs car specific? or universal? seen a few for sale that have bene on mk4 20vts and a few smaller jap hatches but didnt know if they would be suitable for the VR
  16. I need something to take the shine off the leather and give it the satin finish that newer leather has. Is there anything that can take the creases out or make them less if your face? cheers
  17. I got on eventually. I nearly took bungy out near the last few corners when a few of us had orange TTs haha. I need to get my headset set up (no geordie!)
  18. Where does it say the room number?
  19. I better get practising, hardly ever drive on the "the ring"
  20. nah its not permanent but it does last a while. Depends how often you wash the wheels aswel. But it prevents brake dust sticking to the wheels and makes it easier to wash it off. I wouldnt recommend it if the wheels are a matt of atin finish though.... Got a pic of the dent in the wheel(s)?
  21. use poorboys wheel sealant. apply it in thin layers like a wax, let it cure and qipte it off with a microfibre and continue this a few times to build up a few coats.
