    Its a bit of a grey area. Some will say no moving parts can protrude outside of the arch. Others say nothing can protude more than 30mm outside of the arch but the tread must be covered. The mood of the police. MOT tester can be a factor aswel.

    One of my fav shows last year. Well worth the trip down even though it was costly. Even got my polo in the back of PVW when it was at Inters. What time is everyone getting there for? Im just going on the sunday.

    Any more spaces on the clubstand? Cant fit my car into bodyshop in time to get everything sorted, but should have new wheels by then, if I can justify splashing the cash for them haha

    Where can I get a polished intake pipe? Anyone got pics of one fitted? I dont like loads of polished bits under the bonnet so not sure if it will be too much. Thanks (wasnt too sure on which section to put this in)

    The sound fantastic. Mine a daily and ive kinda got used to it. As a weekend car it will be fine. Its only when im sat at 60 it gives me a headache.

    My mate has a mk4 20vT and she said she couldnt hear her own car when I booted it haha. When we done RWYB my mates said they could hear my mk3 all the way down the strip, I cant hear much induction noise on mine over the exhaust. But mine just got the 1 box (back box). If im honest its a little too loud so I was thinking about getting a quiter (de)cat back system, but I dont want to loose the tone its got now.

    Ive got a scropion and it sounds awesome, either on tick over or full chat but its quite loud. It has a annoying drone at 60.... but I just dont sit at 60 and its fine.

    Easy to remove? Got any pics? So form what ive read, I block the black tube off and run the clear 1 into the wing? But why is it there if its not needed?

    Anyone relocated it? Ive heard of a few people removing them but leaving the valve in place. Could be the perfect place for a decent size cold air feed.

    Anyone bought 1 of the kits you can get off ebay? Is it a decent kit or better kits out there? A worth while thing to fit? Ive only seen the oil temp go as high as 98. But my mate who had a VR jetta has his alot higher. Inlet and everything is soo hot. Anything I can do/fit to keep the temp down? Thanks

    My polo was H7 but the mk4-5 were h4 hi/lo Hmm....now to decide if im keeping golf front or vento front. Shame they cant be the same bulb type Just spotted that it has H1 stamped on the inside of the headlight. where is everyone mounting the ballasts?

    Didnt think about eurocar parts. Reckon its worth trying them, or getting a dealership part?

    I had HIDs in the polo and I want them in the golf. They make night time driving soo much better. What bulb types are mk3? Are they the same as vento headlights? Dont want to have to buy two sets. Where is everyone mounting the ballasts? Thanks

    £102+VAT from VW, special order only But.... a VW dealership not too far away has 1 in excess stock which they can sell me for £78 (but im gunna check part numbers when im down there, cos thats the dealership that got confused about the cat/decat haha)

    The got all confused when I mentioned It had a decat pipe. Onyl thing that makes me say its overfueling, its the exhaust is black from soot, theres a slight smell of petrol from around the exhaust and the exhaust pops ALOT. Is there only 1 lambda sensor or is there a bank1 and bank2?

    I need the part number for thw lambda sensor/probe please. I went to VW but they got all confused and couldnt tell me which 1 I needed out of the 4 that came up on the screen. The mk3 is overfuelling and backfiring and its costing me a fortune. The probe isnt even int he exhaust so rather than clean it and put if back in, just gunna get a new sensor, cos it looks like its past its time (was like this when I bought the car, but I only noticed the other day when I was cleaning the engine bay). Could it have casued any damage wiht it not having the probe plugged in? Thanks

    215/45s but they were on when he obught them. No doubt he would have had smaller tyres if he had to buy the tyres haha.
