  2. Part number for the injectors 0280155759
  3. I thought its time to update the build thread with pictures and notes.
  4. Thanks Lukey. Umm gives me some food for thought. There quite a difference between 0.2 - 0.5 - 0.8 bar. I just need to find some where thats cheaper as £50 + VAT + P&P is expensive in my view.
  5. Hey Luke is there a reason why it the sender has to be as low as 0.5 bar? The reason I ask is that I have found one that is at 12psi - 0.8 bar for good money as in cheap lol. I found that chap and you are right its expensive. Will this effect the low pressure sensor for the ecu?
  6. Its ok Steve thanks for the offer. I have already bought the gauge, just need to source the sender.
  7. Wired in I used the radio ignition. Thanks guys.
  8. Thanks Pearsy, I will give it a go on Saturday if the checks with the pipework does not resolve the issue.
  9. I tested this morning and damn you do need the full version of vag.com. Just an update, I removed the old wiring from the ECU for the Schrick and cleaned that up with new wire and heat wrap. Boost gauge is installed but no output. Need to do a road test on Saturday morning. Last point, no errors on the ECU at all but she is running like a dog. So its check all hosing on both the inlet and outlet of the charger next. How do you check if there are any issues with the HT leads or plugs? Also I am still running standard plugs.
  10. Good question, I have no idea I will test tomorrow.
  11. humm do you need the full version of vag.com?
  12. here are certain test conditions that must be met before doing a TBA: No DTC's in the Engine Controller Battery voltage at least 11.5 V Throttle must be at idling position (keep your foot off the gas pedal) Throttle body part must not be dirty (carbonized). Coolant temperature must be between 5 and 95C Procedure for performing a Throttle Body Alignment on Cable-Throttle Cars: These are cars with a physical cable between the accelerator and the throttle, but WITHOUT an ISV. Turn the key on but do not start the car. [select] [01 - Engine] [Measuring Blocks - 08] Group 098 [Go!] [switch to basic
  13. The other connects to the re-cir valve.
  14. Thanks for the offer but be great to have another set of eyes on tbh.
  15. Thanks, I will give this a good looking over on Saturday Morning.
  16. Both Craig and Tony, a question you, both of you have had Schimmel Cams, does the VR idle rough with these cams?
  17. Would this be on the outlet of the charger or manifold vacuum?
  18. I checked the cabling and cleared the errors, ran again and no errors but she still runs like a dog!!! I changed the silicone hoses for better fittings ones and that's made a huge difference to the fittings. I installed the boost gauge but got no reading when revving to 3000 rpm is this normal?
  19. Had a look on ebay found a great deal on the sender and gauge but not sure on where to get the 0.5 bar low pressure switch?
  20. Ouch that sounds expensive but its needed. I will look on demon tweeks. Thanks Lukey.
  21. I am looking at this gauge to match my boost gauge but have no idea if I need 0-5 bar or 0-10 bar and if I need any other accessories?
