    It matters not on the stretch as I need more rubber on the road. These are the 205/45's on mine and this is too much stretch for me.

    Hi all, I am currently running Compomotive TH Momo, 8J, 16inch rims. I need to buy new rubber. I am using Falken ZIEX ZE-912 205/40/16 H which have too much stretch for me on 8J's So I am looking at 215/40/16 W but..... I have given myself a choice of 3 due to budget; Avon ZZ3 Toyo T1R Falken ZIEX ZE-912 Whats your thoughts and experience?

    Sorry the new plan, the VR engine/charger/ecu and gearbox will go. I am going to go Emerald ECU, 1.8t BAM Stage 2. Its not going to sound even close to the VR but I really like the shape of the MK3 and just cannot find another car that I like.

    Hey all, sorry its been ages. Well I've enjoyed boost for a few months now but........I've decided to break the car as I am just about to buy a run around to get me by. I won't say this is the end of love for the VR but wait and see you will be surprised. I would like to say thank you to all the forum members, especially Tony, Jim, Paul, Adam, Craig and the list goes on for helping/advising with this build.     Yes I think so and I also noticed the cap was loose as it was extremely easy to undo.

    Well been some time, so the latest news, I changed the spring in the re-circ valve and this has made a big difference, I also have a sports cat that needs to be fitted.

    Hi all, I managed to get hold of a badge for the rear but its missing the sticky stuff. Any ideas whats the cheapest and best stuff to use? lol no blue tack, double sided tape.

    Learn t a good lesson last night make sure you have fuel before going on full chat, VR's dont like to be starved of fuel in 3rd gear and at 6500 rpm. No damage I hope, forced induction is too addictive. Oh something Jim had picked up regarding the odd torque curve at 5500 rpm and above. When I changed the spring in the DV. The lid was loose, so this may explain the curve. Its just a thought.

    Huge difference changing the spring, drives so much the better for it. So just sports cat next, hopefully next month.

    Forge spring fitted today, I had no idea it was as easy as it was to fit. Will test drive tomorrow to see how it preforms.

    Thanks guys, its a slow process getting the build to the state, I can give it a rest this year. Though........I found a cracking polished manifold lol
