Then i would go for number 3, preferably 16s but 17s tops.... 18s are too big... no good for the handling or ride. 16s are ideal.

It now has a white dice in that hole instead of the vw logo and the front end of the car is black with white graphics on the join... looks mint!!

Yeah its great aint it... i think its custom... made from 2 standard grilles... its looks like the vw badge hole has just been moved to the side...

I think yours is the later one then... which has the larger spline, so you should be fine. Oh and you can tell if yours is the early model by the interior... its different to the facelift models...

well as far as i know you shouldnt have it in there as the raddo doesnt have it... but then if its not connected will it really cause a prob? that bit i dont know.... lol. Is yours an early one or a later one??

Yeah it should do, the earlier ones had a smaller spline and the later ones have the bigger spline, but there is an adaptor if you have the smaller one as i think you need the bigger one for it to fit... but it has to be non airbag so you may have to remove it...

I think off to one side in the corner looks better... maybe a bit smaller though.. i do like it in the middle of the bonnet too the more i look at it... tough call, lol :)

I know i would be up for helping out mate if there is any way it is fixable... id gladly donate a day of my time to helping you out... ive got a drivers side head light that would do the job too, got a lil bit snapped off the inside but it works fine, well its still on my car at the mo, need to swap it for my new one, but you can have that for free.... if you've got the time and a tad of money then do some hunting and see what it is you need... im sure there's others out there willing to help, always good to have an excuse to get the gang together... :)

Id say option one... looks more suited to the car... that second one doesnt look 'in keeping' with the style of the car in my opinion...

a skill maybe.... but everyone has different skills... i dont think the wage is justified what so ever... they do nothing for people other than provide entertainment, they dont save lives, they dont keep the country running, they dont produce food... to me i have more respect and admiration for a parking attendant... at least they keep the roads clear which helps with getting on with your day... I think they should swap their wages with the nurses and surgeons that work in hospitals saving lives everyday, dealing with the gruesome sh*t that most of us couldnt even look at, now that is a skill

i went to work... think i must be bloody mental... its getting worse by the second here, werent bad this morning... only a few inches, but thats enough for me not to want to drive the vr home!! ill post some pics later... lol. How bad is it where you are??
