yeah looks like mine is right... im often told mine is a 'good' postcode by insurers and it comes up as a B on there... (ive had a car broken into though and my mates had an attempted stealing but they failed to break the steering lock and still wrote the car off in the process lol. maybe they should rethink it!)

Yeah as Steve says, more than likely your coilpack, check it for cracks, they can be fixed but might be easier to get a new one....

Here's the MFA functions... the MFA has some hidden functions. Here's how you do it: 1.Switch your MFA switch to position 1 2.Switch your car to "ON" (Don't start it!) 3.Press and hold the mode button 4.Turn the key to "Off", then back on. 5.Release the mode button. Now when you cycle through the modes, you get this info: -Engine MAP code -Country code (1=Canada, 4=US) -speedometer drive ratio -upper RPM limit -lower RPM limit -deceleration fuel shutoff pressure (mbars) -LCD Test And, if you do this: 1.Switch your MFA switch to position 2 2.Switch your car to "ON" (Don't start it!) 3.Press an

when you switch off the ignition it goes back to normal, but it has this operation on both sides, so there are other options on the mfa side too if you follow the same instructions. lol.

Chris, you dont have to like one or the other.... I like shiney dubs, fast dubs, low n slow, rat look, euro stylee.... personally id wait and have the respray.... carbon wrap is a massive no no in my view.... people going 'ohhhh carbon bonnet' then you having to say, 'well, no, its just wrapped' will be a bit gutting.... better doin the real thing, or painting it.... black bonnets can look ok, but can look shockin too... up to you if you spend the 45 squids and risk it lookin pants or just save up for a propa spray job....

The mk1 owners club may have someone on there that has done it, i only know of one person on here to do it and i cant remember his name damn it, but i know its not easy and i think you have to fabricate mounts etc for it to fit....
