this has nothing to do with "southern fairies" if you cant get ppl to turn up to events nearer your home towns spending 4 hours driving there and 4 hours driving back and £100 in fuel for a rolling road i can do for £50 10 minutes down the road from me isnt sensible or logical you really need to get more members involved maybe have regular meets in your area so as people wont be so shy going to the slightly bigger events Team South have had 3 or 4 meets this year as well as travelling in convoy for santa pod and other events

i know the schrick made my car nearly a second faster 1/4 mile because that was the only difference between inters last year and this ran 16.02 iirc

if abs is fitted the light must work and extinguish and shouldnt be anything to do with how friendly you are to the tester its a safety device

dont know buddy but theres no head sapcer or gasket there either plus headbolts and intercooler pipe work if you want / need all that as well

possibly best to get one for right hand drive as may foul brake parts

is it the cams that are broken or the wheels on the ends that the chains run on ?? -
none of them are rare mine is obd2 and dosnt have plastic arches the rubbing strips on the doors and the tops of the bumpers are body coloured early ones had black plastic arches and black tops to the bumpers and black rubbing strips all unpainted

post a pic up but if the plastic arch covers are body coloured theyve been painted

if theyve been overtightened its too late but you when fitting new bearings you dont really tighten on a torque setting more when the wheel / disc starts resisting then back off slightly

would have stopped the whining but tend to overheat the bearing and can create resistence so that is more than likely

maybe it was overtightened to shut it up

Yep or wether they notice theres not one fitted

It can pass the emisions ok but legal requirement's it should have one fitted its upto the tester as to wether or not they fail it for not having one fitted
