    I dont think i put a thread up recently?? I've already been to "quote detective" the insurance company that is the top one on the list (cheapest one) is the insurance company i am currently with.

    As the title says i am getting to the point where i can no longer afford to keep my vr6 because of my dam insurance - nothing else. I am 22 years old, 0 no cliams bonus, but been driving for 4 years on another policy, and 3 points for speeding. I am paying £265 a month which is steep i reckon on third party fire and theft, me as the policy holder. When i get a day off i will be ringing up adrian flux, sky insurance, HIC, chris knott and brentacre etc from the vr6 forum and see what i can come up with. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks Guys.

    As the title says........... Engine oil change Gearbox oil change Brake fluid change Steering fluid change Come on guys add any in if ive missed one out, also what do you guys recommend in using when it comes to changing the various fluids? Cheers.

    On the mk3 golf, what size / fitment bulbs goes in to the foglight itself? And is it legal to have a different colour foglight?

    Nice one mate any ideas on places to buy from and what prices will be, also you reckon a set of goodridge stainless steel hoses and a brake fluid would be a good idea, while i am at it?

    Ahh i see makes sense, but i still want set for my vr. Do you reckon i can get a pair of numberplate bulbs that are the same brightness led lights for the mk3 golf?

    Could someone please recommend me a full set of discs and pads set for my vr? The car has not got any real big boys power lol, so wont need £1000 brake set up lol, something all round goodness.

    Thank you Tony but i am sure most cars down my area have them, do you know if the new bmw range come with them as standard, have seen loads of new 3 series bmws inlcuding m3 and rs4 with them bulbs. Maybe its just me lol.

    Hi I am thinking of doing this small mod to my car, was thinking is it legal? Also if someone has done this to there car already any chance of someone posting a picture, want to see what is would look like on a vr. Also any one know of the right bulbs to get? Dont want to end up with bulbs that are either too dark or light blue. Cheers Guys.

    richie my abs light has been on from day one lol but could possibly be that, thank you for explaining how to get to the handbrake switch.

    I am in the process right know in getting part numbers for the top mounts and bearings, neva thought of changing them, but will do soon. I am 100% sure that horrible noise was not there before i had my coillies fitted straight after fitting the coilies that noise started coming through, especially when driving at low speeds and goig over speed humps. Nice 1 gavin appreciate it mate.

    Luke where is the handbrake switch located, as the light has decided to come back on again !

    Still suffering from that worrible creaking noise, might have to get it looked at, mayber rubber mounts and bearings need changing?

    The part numbers that you have given are they for the front or the rear?

    Sorry to high jack the thread a bit but i recently fitted coilovers too and did not change the mounts, Luke how much are a set of vw top mounts and bearings?

    I think i saw your car and you at Luton Retail Park today, i was leaving work for lunch and heard a vr ripping it a bit, looked around and i am sure it was your car, with the exhaust goin up words, car sounded and looked wicked. My vr was parked close by to near the entrance/exit, dont no if you saw it?
