Hi Under the bonnet, in the engine bay, how do i get off the engine cover - the cover that says "2.8 vr6 or "vr6 - dohc" etc? Cheers Team

Hi I just noticed my drivers side wing mirror outer casing (the coloured painted part that matches the bodywork) is a bit a loose, and has been cracked, i want to just take of the outer cover, how do i do it? Are they glued or screwed in to place, or is there some hidden screws i dont know about? Cheers Team

Hey guys I want to take out the rear quarter panel door card on the drivers side in order to repair a rip in the leather, any advice on a how to...... The car is a 1998 vr6 highline 3 door. Cheers.

The right tyres to buy?

Wow quiet a response so far, my budget is about give or take about £300 mark, on my mulberry i had dunlop sport 01 tyres, which seemed pretty good but my new black vr needs a set soon, i was thinking of getting the same dunlops or the toyo proxes t1r seem to be a popular choice. -
As the title says my vr6 will need a set of new tyres fitted at all 4 corners very soon, how do you go about choosing what brand tyres to choose? The size tyres i will use will be 205 / 50 / 15, with a 35mm or 40mm drop all round.

Just come back from the vw main dealer, had to wait on a few bits and pieces to come from germany. one of the bits i had ordered was a rear wiper cover - a plastic cover that covers the nut and water nozzle for people that dont know what i am on about, anyway the problem i have is i dont understand how the cover is meant to go on? Doing my head in it is, are the wiper arm and blade ment to come off before i can get the cover on? Any ideas peeps? ;-)

Thanks daz went to vw main dealer he was quoting over £60.00 for a new set of mats.

omg went to vw main dealer, he quoted me £80.00 for the deep chin splitter, £40.00 a side, i nearly passed out. lol.

I am a bit picky and want a perfect fit set of mats, some companies say tailor made for the car but they dont fit perfectly.
