    Thanks Luke it was the brake fluid level, was a bit low so toppped it up with dot 4, and what do you know the handbrake light has gone off. lol. Also for argument sake if it was not my brake fluid level being low what else could it be?

    Hi When driving my vr around some times the handbrake light comes on randomly. Whats the problem? Cheers.

    Have not had the chance to spray top mounts yet but managed to spray silicone spray with a straw between the gap of the rear tyres and arch and just sprayed the complete rear coilovers. When you open the boot and bounce the car up and down is when when you can here the noise same as when you are driveing.

    Nah it's not the exhaust, pretty sure noise coming from rear coilovers.

    It's more like a knocking noise, i have not had any weight in the boot yet just fitted them 2 days ago. Went to halfrauds and bought silicone spray will be spraying the rubber mounts today to see it stops, maybe the coilovers take time to set in in to place?

    Just got my jamex coilovers fitted, the rears are making a very bad noise? any ideas?

    Thnax guys for the advice, VeedubVR do you know what the actual setting in mm your coilovers are setted at? Any chance of pictures being posted up?

    Hi Peeps My jamex coilovers have turned up a few days ago and have the intentions of fitting them in the next couple of days. Okay what i need some advice on is how low to go on them but sensibly? I have got my original bbs solitdues on the vr6 at the moment and running toyo proxes t1r tyres. Bare in mind i do have passengers in the back on rare occasions and the weekly shopping in the boot sometimes, and the main think i dont want to be doing is breaking my sump every other day. Come on guys lets hear your comments and want to see pictures too. Cheers Team. :-)

    Thank you guys i guess it is quantum synta silver 10w40, by all means if anyone else wants to add there thoughts of different oils they have used and have found they are better feel free to post it up please.

    Luke do you use synta silver? Is that the full name of the oil, where can it be bought from? Whats the correct one to use i.e. 10w 40 15w 40 etc?

    Spadam - if i am looking at the engine bay area from the front of the car (when bonnet is open), is gearbox side left or right?

    Hi Peeps Forgive me again if this topic has been covered before, what actually consists of an full engine rebuild for a vr6? A list of all the parts needed and tools required. Also if anyone knows what labour costs are involved and usually how long it takes to do. On a seperate note how much for parts and labour and time involoved for doing the engine chains and tensioners? Thanks Guys.

    Hi Peeps okay first of all forgive me if this topic has been covered before but have had no joy looking for it on the website. My car is on about 89000 miles, standard with drilled airbox and milltek cat back exhaust system, if this makes any difference to my question. Money no object what is the best engine oil to get for my vr6, people that have used certain oils please post em down with reasons why it is good or why it wasn't a good oil to use. Also my car has a little rattle when started from cold. Thanks Team
