    Hi I am sure i saw on the forum someone that had a vr6 with one of those massive ramair cone filters like the ones cosworth owners have. Anyone know who it is on here? I wanted to know could you buy that massive filter for the vr6 or do you have to buy a cosworth one and modify it to fit the vr6? Cheers.

    Yep got ur message, eastwood john, that is the same one i am looking to get too now as vw dont sell them anymore, and that guy from ebay seems to be the only person i can find that is selling them, how long did it take for your one to come, and was it genuine? good fit, sticky back etc?

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET A DEEP SPLITTER FROM THAT FITS PERFECTLY IN THE MIDDLE, NO GAPS. apart from vw - £80.00 2 much !!!

    Yep mine was the same thing at first, topped up brake fluid and everything was okay for about 2 days, n then the light came back on, and since then has never gone off. :-(

    £12.80 plus vat, picking it up on wednesday as VW have to order them in.

    Hi All Okay guys need some advice / help, i am looking to get breakdown cover from one of the above 3, i am interested to know what deals, bundles, packages people have got. I know some people have got deals setted up with there insurance companies but i am looking for a seperate one. Thanks Guys

    Bought my one recently from VW speak to the parts department, they are allowed to "knock" money off, but depends how friendly the parts department are.

    No i didnt mate, but i am looking into it this week going to change x4 abs sensors first, vag com it and take it from there. I dont thing it is my handbrake switch because wen i start my car in the morning it is fine, push handbrake down light goes out, as soon as i get to my first speed bump, go over it and handbrake light goes on.

    Finny just curious to know how long did it take you to do, start to finish? And also are you looking to do anyone elses on here? How much you looking to charge for this to be done on someone eleses vr?

    Thanx Craig, it's not bad i guess wat i am paying for insurance, where i live, policy in my name, points etc, so it's betta then not having a vr all together lol. At least this way i can still be part of the vr6 forum, by the way ur r32 is phat. Let us know wat ur renemwal quoute is wen u get it. should be interesting to know.

    £180 a month, thats the best they can do, i can afford this no problem so it's all gud !
