    Yea shud of mentioned if it were chains it would be loud and most noticable at 1200rpm.

    ^ ive also read about this but think id be to worried id damage it. Read a long thread somewhere about piston rings taking around 30 -40miles to bed in and you should bring engine up to temp and you the whole rev range with heavy engine braking but do not hold the revs. Not sure id have the guts to do this tbh.

    Do a search m8 been covered loads. Most of lads on here use fushs or synta silver 10w 40 semi sythetic as this is what vw recomend. 5l from tps is around £13. Slight rattle when cold could possibly be chains if its coming from the gearbox side of engine.

    as above replace oil and filter and coolant and take for a good hard drive. If it comes back then get a sniff test done.

    I dont think il be able to get friday off either. If i can get the money together to come up there il probe be leaving work just before 5 unless i manage to get away earlier.

    You can get them from tps for about £100 new. I got mine from a member on here for £15. Mine fan used to still be on an hour after i switched car off and sometimes it would stop when car was switched off then come back on in the middle of the night and drain the battery.

    sounds like your fan control module may have gone. Mine has recently went and im waiting for new 1 to arrive. This wont explain the temp gauge tho. Sure some1 else may have a better answer for you.

    Reworx is the rx7 specialist in hilsea top blokes there as i was thinking bout getting a rx7 a while ago. Yea solid front mount makes the world of diffrence cheers paul for making mine up.

    dont perticually want to sell but i get bord easy and want something faster now 300bhp maybe more. i would only sell if price is right as just got bk from 2 week holiday and really like the car again.

    really thats expensive they were really good to me and lowered my premium when i modified it as it was then classed in a diffrent scheme which lowered the price. insurance is a funny thing

    try HIC im 21 3 years no claims all mods declared and its only £650 quite cheap i thought. Can insure a 500bhp supra for £1100 just cant afford to buy or run the car lol

    still havent fitted new calipers i got from paul a over a month ago. still need to sort out fan control module. still havent cleaned it and still no charger fitted or even brought yet.

    Yea possibly at right price was going to keep it an extra year but at right price it will be for sale.
