    A well tuned turbo diesel will not omit black smoke. Aparentpy diesels run rich as standard which causes the smoke. So once tuned properly will not omit black smoke. A friend had a tuned Bmw 330d with around 400lb of torque and 300bhp was very quick and no black smoke.

    Its states that any car that has factory fitted airbags, seatbelt pre tensioners etc must remain fitted and must not be missing. So kit cars dont have airbags as desinged so would be ok.

    Yea i wanted a road legal track slag but that isnt going to happen now

    Surely he would just get an sva test for kit cars cant see why it wouldnt pass altough mot has got strict now and you can no longer remove airbags, seabelt pre tensioners etc. Makes it difficult to strip your car out as that was my plan but that has cone to a halt now.

    Friend of mine also had one. Was a quick car if im honest. Although the handling on a 205 was immense and had truly amazing luft off oversteer. Would love to own a mint condition one.

    Never thought about ireland but am rather intrigued now. Allways the isle of man but that would get expensive i would imagine.

    Yea sorry didnt mean it was contributing to the overheating just thats its not recomended to use it.

    Possibly an airlock in the system. Also i thought only g12 coolant was supposed to be used which is pink.

    Get some sticky tyres and a bit of rake to weight over the front wheels and lose weight. Will all help to get a good time
