    Oil in cylinder could possibly be valve stem seals or piston rings. Oil from external could be a number of things

    What i never understand with these types of systems is where does all that crap on your valves and piston crowns go? Surely it get balsted through the engine possibly damaging piston rings etc. Personally i just use v power on all my cars and maybe once in a while run a bottle of fuel cleaner. To avoid carbon in the first place just make sure you use the rev range and give it a good balst every now and agin.

    Did you move the throttle plate when cleaning it with the engine off? As its drive by wire if you move the throttle plate by hand you can damage the throttle body. Read about this before i cleaned mine last year. Was advised only to open it using the pedal with ignition on but engine off.

    Any over oiled filter will damage the MAF as it sucks the oil onto the element which then causes the MAF to give false readings. You can clean your MAF if you are carefull.

    Never used it but seen many people just spray underbody parts with hammerite then a coat of waxoil. That will keep rust at bay and protect from stonechips.

    Acually been lookng at this a lot recently and thinking of going in september possibly when kids are back at school weekend break type of thing.

    Cheap campsite in wales approx £15 a night most are anyway and fuel for the trip. Limit it to 200 miles and you should only use 1 tank for the weekend + travel to destination if from scotland etc. Be a great weekend not to epxensive and get to see some nice sights and roads with like minded people.

    Looks good Pete. The one i mentioned was a rather large loop suitable for a weekend so you can stop every few miles for pics etc.

    There a 200mile triange route you can take in wales. Nothing to strenous 100miles per day then camp and have a few drinks.

    Sat / Sun drive through Wales with camping one night maybe? Also up for a rolling road day with BBQ etc
