    like all things government tries the theory in principle sounds good but in practice is stupid.. i should know i work in Government ... My car isn't used much at all it's now sorn but is still insured on the driveway... if i could suspend my insurance when i don't use the car or it's off the road because i can't afford to repair it for the MOT then i would... If the car were broken into then that's my fault to be honest with no seats in it and a roll cage there's nothing to see or be able to steal anyway !!! I bet you as well when it does get back on the road i get pulled by police because D

    I have been looking at NOS for a long time 3 yrs plus but everything is pricey for me on my shoe string budget... the best all round system i can find is the ZEX system... as it does away with messing about with complicated set up and pressure... It has a module regulator that automatically adjusts to the bottle pressure so won't make the mixture run lean or flood the engine... Kits i have seen are about £600 plus the postage on top from the USA The reason i looked at it was that i don't want to spend thousands on cams ECU head work etc.. plus i want to stay N/A and it helps N/A cars keep up

    If some fool can't see that he's a lying toad then they get what they deserve... but in all honesty been there with a modded Escort Mk3 RS2000... stung and lesson learnt... If your buyiing a VR6 or nay decent motor you usually do your research or atleast i do....

    That's been advertised twice now.. orginally was £1800 and is a GTI converted to VR6 power... i'll bid £1

    They are at the cheaper end of the exhaust market can be rather loud. Strut braces i can try !!

    I had to do what Dman did when mine snapped last week when jason and i were fitting at RAM air filter ... all i did was run the flexi tube lower in the bay and clamped a piper x oil breather filter to the end and blanked the intake hole with a gear box dust cap ... Although i can smell some oil when the heaters are on .... i will try the black silicone job ....

    I like the TRS tow belt... i am getting that exact one myself but as i have smoothed the indicators out i will have to locate elsewhere... i'd paint the cage balck more stealthy if your doing the sleeper look my cage is black

    I'm not with you ?? What finish do you have ??? All painted or do you have one with black plastic raised ripple effect ??? All MK3 bumpers will fit just depends what derivitive your VR6 is ???

    As far as i am aware all Mk3 Golf Front bumpers are the same mounting points just different finishes textured or smooth etc...

    if you have to grind to bare metal to get a good earth ,,, & hopefully you are using the appropriate gauge size of cable to take the current

    Right ... just and idea and something a bit different... Does anyone know of a good company that Does Vaccumm Forming ? ... I want to get a negative mould made of the stock scuttle pannel ... Once done i figured i could make a nice custom carbon one to replace the nasty sun bleached plastic stock one .. Can anyone help ??? Thanks Mike

    Under the rear seats where my secondary ecu is earthed to the same point and also in the boot well on the rear top mount..

    Earthing point really makes a difference i thought same with mine but turned out earth off amp was bad and also my power cap ...

    Not the point i was making mrs events organiser ... no one mentioned Speeding ... Modified cars attract the PLOD like flies on **** ... Just trying to give members a rough idea what to look out for when on travels.. How members drive on the public highway is entriely their responsibilty. Now back to the task in hand ....

    Right thought it about time we had something that let members know what's what from around the UK ...     Yep sorry boys no can do ... and i am totally loosing the love of the VR right now ... had to change 3 wheels friday morning at 7am to get to work... running 15's on front 17 on rear ... Expansion tank leaking everywhere .. central locking pump going gaga atm... No money for fuel rotton arches and that's before my camo kit has arrived in the post !!! Sweet baby JESUS ...
