    It's a crazy idea but simple... the actual physics should work and i don't see why it couldn't be used in conjunction with Nos or a charge cooler... and it should work well with Turbo to help lower temps and increase boost ???

    Been watching way too much Motorsport of late... I always see dry ice used to be packed around F1 rad's etc.. My question is has anyone tried using it in a enclosed air box assembly so that the airfliter draws in cold air across the maff into the intake ??? And potentially some extra BHP !! ?? What do we think ? Mike

    Well kids these days don't get it do they ? Life is handed to most of them on a plate... we all want better for our children than we had only sometimes that's not a good thing ....     Cool thanks... got that down no lead and 102 RON upto 115 RON is ok on standard internals ... i just want as much bang for my buck with the simple mods i have ... as the car is stripped out for track days and still used as transport to and from work i don't use it that often so a barrell should last me a while... mix that in with a NOS system and i think it'll do good things on track and the road...

    Okey dokey VW Nuts... I have been looking into fuels of late ... as i am staying NA i want as much go go from my juice as possible.. Looked at SUNOCO Fuels around £100 a barrell.. very tempting BUT.... What's the highest ocatine i can run on stock internals and in injectors with just a remapped ECU exhaust & filter ... ?? I have looked at the 102 RON but i see there's fuel upto 105 RON So can i run it ???

    i was going to make up a heat deflector from aluminium from B&Q and coat it in ceramic paint to deflect heat ... so it shields the big RAM air filter from heat soak... if i get my act together i can make a pattern for others to make one up

    Sorry to say some bright spark is using old posting threads to spam ... Under the heading Hornet Maxx cat Alarm which i posted over a year ago i've got fake rolex spam coming through... ...     So did you get your door cards in carbon fibre ? i see performance trim has gone belly up form your link ... i have just picked up the latest performace vw mag and mark byrnes mk3 VR6 has carbon drip tray and splitter all parts we asked about... so can your mate still make parts ?
