    Could be anything... I had old BMW E30 that had only ever done school run never had been over 50 mph .. first time i took it to 80 it nearly died... Was just clogged injectors and crap in the tank... MAF is a good place to start though

    They actually look and remind me of The Vents Astra GTE's used to run ( the one's that had a digital dash like knight rider ) ....

    Not wishing to be a Grass but you can contact the DVLA or Government line and shop him if you have details.. All annonomusly of course... Being a Govt man it's publicised a lot wher ei work to shop people...

    Hi all ... Can anyone tell me is it easy to remove the rubber strips that run the length of the roof where the Roof bars sit ? If so does it look odd without them and would i have to do some filling of holes if i take them off ??? Cheers Mike

    Honestly putting an enging and gear box in wasn't a big deal... front end off hoist and helping hands and it's easy... As tony says keep trying to get a Golf's VR motor pref OBD2 mate... Try Ebay.Autotrader etc etc & good luck with the build

    err... possibly there are GTI & VR6 pipes and exhausts out there that are for both... Hmmmmmm cany but try it .... !!

    Either that or some kind sole could fabricate a pod holder that sits where the driver side dash tweeter sits ... wink wink...

    What ever your happyest doinbg mate... if your not good at the hands on stuff buy ready made stuff.. Perosnally those types i don't like but that's what makes it great in the VR6 Club everyones different ... Could you not look at mounting behind steering wheel ? i've seen a plastic replacement for the steering column ...

    all i could suggest is that you get the piller pod fix it with screws temporarily then fiberglass and cover the entire pillar in material faux black leather or another material ????

    How come do they reset the equipment then for not CAT fitted cars ???

    It was a bastard to get it to hug the plastic pillar though took 3 attempts and some black self tapping screws

    Might look in to these then but if they are £££ then i will go to the prescribed way cams, de cat etc and re map if i can get 200 or 220 then i'm happy as i can make up the short fall with NOS to around 275 - 300BHP ... Cheers TONY
