Sounds good ssaunders
I'm just waiting to see how the development of the new Quafe sequential dog box goes before committing. If it is not going to be ready for a while I have a DRP stripped ready to send to Don Octane for full Dog gears etc... -
Such a shame too many doors.

Any pictures?

What colour?

Your gearbox should be fine at 350bhp with no prep other than a clutch, I never had any problems.
400bhp and over you will start to encounter problems. -

It's been a while since I updated this, as usual life gets in the way.
Welded on some -16 fittings for the water inlet/outlet and 3.5" Vanjen clamps and had the whole thing powder coated black.
Wheels of the 18x10J verity arrived.
Wrapped in 265 35 18 Nankang NS2R 120 soft tyres.
Adapters arrived so did some test fitting.
Definitely going to need some wider arches.
Test fitted chargecooler and only way it's working is if I take a notch out the chassis leg.
Not the best welder in the world but it seems strong enough. -
Feel free to visit any time

My dad cracked 2 rings when we built my motor it is easy done with a piston ring clamp that is not made for 15 degree engine.
Try contact Wossner direct or look to see who is the UK dealer, I think TSR are. -

I turbocharged my old 12v for £3000 that included GT3582r, clutch and fuelling upgrades.

Managed to get an 11" Spal pull fan mounted to my radiator today using the supplied 'quick connect kit'
Apologies for my terrible fabrication skills, made a bracket today to mount my 19 row oil cooler to my 52mm twin pass polo radiator.
This is how it will sit. Just need to make some mounting brackets for the entire assembly. On the plus side the new rad, fan & oil cooler weighs at least 50% lighter than the old rad, fan & air con radiator. -
Let us all know how you get on.

You need to buy custom vr6 24v pistons with 84mm or larger bore if you are going over bore.
It's not the height of the top of the piston that's the concern although the 7:1 compression ratio you will end up with is a little low for the boost/ power your looking to run. It is the piston pin ratio that may cause you an issue as the piston comes to the bottom of its stroke. -

Had another play today. Managed to get a 14mm banjo for the high pressure side of the power steering rack.
Bent/ swaged the pipe and sent it into the cabin where my electric PAS pump will be.
Found a nice home for my Aeromotive belt drive pump fuel pressure regulator.
Fitted two new o rings on the standard plastic water pipe and a new seal on the thermostat housing. I did look at the metal upgrades you can buy but I decided having had VR6 engined cars for the last 9 or so years and never one pipe has failed they are really more about looks than anything else.
Then I mounted the front slam panel just to feel like I had done a little more . -
Why are you missing a main cap?
