R32 brakes on a VR6?
Moochalargo replied to Advr6's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
Yep ive got mk4 r32 fronts on mine! All you need is a spacer between the caliper carrier and the hub assy i think the spacer is 6mm and i just copied the shape of the carrier (ie the face that mounts to th hub assy) and the bolts that hold the 288mm calipers can be used to hold the new set up on!! i also fotted the r32 back plates with a little modding! they are great!! Any more help i can give let me know! -

WOW there she is!!!!! N766TJT That was my old mans VR6 and my reasoning for buying mine!! He sold it to poole audi about 4 or 5 years ago when he got his S3. He added the grill, lights and the crud catchers. He was also the man who added the induction kit, he was the man to drop it by 60mm if i rememver correctly. It used to run on 17" OZ polaris and had a polished ali eibach strutt brace up front, they were removed by my good self the day b4 it went and are now sitting well on my birds GTI. He purchased it in 2000 ish froma guy who i think had her from new. he was an accountant and lived in

Cheers for the coments guys!! The embossed VR6 logo is not that noticable in real life and was done as a demo of scotts tallent i guess my wheel is a working sample of what may be done with stock items!! It was going to have a squared off bottom like the rs4. you can see lots more of his work here.... http://www.scott-lloyd.co.uk -

He has also made new mats with s line embroided in to them to match badges on the car and an aston martin esq leather heel pad. And a gear stick gator to match the wheel bringing the whole interior together! Will try to get some pics on here of them soon and will add a link to his website should any of you want some of his work in your cars!! -
What do you think of this? My mate trimmed it for me and i love it He covered the horn pushes in leather and the air bag and added the lumps above the top spokes it feels great to use!

good question id like to know!! -
I have fitted R32 front brakes on my vr but it still dont stop as i want it to!! mates have put 312s on theirs and they are great and a mate has also added mk4 rear calipers to his vr corrado!! i think my braking woes may come from the naff old standard rears so ill cut to the chase!! can i fit mk4 rears directly to the rear of my mk3? i have been given some hoses to suit but what other complications are there?????

This may have been covered here b4. I have mk4 style lights on my vr and they are crap!! i live in the middle of nowhere and id like to see where i am going. the lamps are H1 and H7 is it worth getting HID's and what kalvin is best? i believe 37000k is brightest? how much should i spend on some and where is best to get them from??? any help would be great!!

slide the front out that will make life easy!! I had the element in the base of my passenger seat go and got it replaced! my mate is a trimmer thank god as i would not wand to do it myself!! try a ring test buzzer to see if you have ring continuity on both the elements of the seat ie the back and the base! seperste parts. u can make a tester by getting some battery powered buzzer thing and a battery and wires! when u add the seat elements in to this circuit the buzzer will buzz if the element is working and not if not!! if u get my drift!!
