at one point everyone had a small device to clear and read codes but now that i need to use one, everyone is either busy or not got one. can't say much as i've got my work cut out for me, as i work 2 jobs. cheers for offer tho. very tempted in tryin your technique tho, car has been like this for 2 weeks, just got to a point where i want it back to normal. :@ -
i've not got a code reader or anything to clear codes. mine is a OBD2. cheers for pronto reply mate. someone needs to clear certain things up on resetting the TB, did some research on here and found that some say disconnecting the battery will trigger the car or ecu to be in safe mode and some say it will be fine. if it is fine then i will prob attempt it later today.

right guys and girls, let me apologies for another rough running thread but this time i can't seem to get it back to normal, well its beyond my capabilities. i have the all time favorite rough running, i met someone on big fat tour 2 that checked it with vagcom, coolant temp sensor and throttle switch came up. the coolant temp sensor was replaced to begin with then the throttle body was cleaned, it had then started to do funny things on revs, dropping very slowly and hanging around 2k on slowing down until after 3-4secs on a stop, it also jerks every now and again when i let the car roll in g

on rollers. results. just before ultimate dubs something like this happens. to put it simple, wheel bolts loosened, when fell off, one corner drops, i hear the spacer drop to the road. get out to take a look ....... followed by (w) and wheel is under arch. its cracked the fibreglass arch severely and a bit on front bumper. wheel is Fecked and gunna get the hub assessed. what annoys me most is that it was a school boy error not to have checked the bolts. when i first heard the noise i somehow always miss the simplest things. i thought it was the drive shaft or something. confused to wh

take your time mate. i took c pillar plastics off. wasn't easy and was a total pain.

if your gettin a jetex, don't get the 3 box system, get the 2 box. mines dead silent.

i think their fine as long as you get the reinforced ones. i currently have full aluminium ones; which explain why they may be bad news. but i didn't have the money as the time and didn't want my car to look funny.

kinda gettin one for 3 things, looks, sound and better performance. 2 out of 3 ain't too bad i guess. hopefully alignment isn't too bad, few guys on here had one and didn't look too bad. i've only ever seen one on a vento. look good.

guys, i've desided to get a jetex but the guys over the phone say a 2box system is better performing than the 3box. whats the disadvantages of getting a 2box to 3?

went there once. was alot of drifting goin on. may be up for the track. depends on what state the vento's in, but tbh i don't think i'd have it ready to rag around tracks. gotta see how things go.

i read somewhere that the front is smoothed off by cutting same size plates from a donor rear bumper.
