i'd prob just be going down for the sat but i ain't promising anything, really want to go but gotta check my finances. it would be good to get some info and feedback from other vr abusers.
i had all my sensors changed and still had the problem. friend of mine said he had the same problem, he had to send his pump off to get it reconidtioned. never happened after that. wasn't cheap apparently but wasn't as expensive as a brand new one.
mine does it alot, i let my mate have a look and go in it and he's pinned it down to abs pump, mine continues to have a fit when ever i touch the brake pedal. temp long term solution is to unplug the abs.
i went sun and thought it was good. managed to chat to one of the guys on the stand, there was only 1 car at that time, he mentioned others on strip. didn't think it was that bad, alot of people said not many were knocking about on sat, there were more on sun. wasn't expecting alot so not soo dissapointed. good to chat to whoever it was i chatted to on sun.
very well thought out. wish i'd thought of something like that. instead its sorta like Manzi ........er..... Pandaman. that will do. :-p BTW i've added all up to here.
is the fan just located behind the sensor or do you have go hunting for it? i've thought of buying one of those air aerosols used for cleaning comps n stuff and blasting it down from the front. i'm little short of time these days so don't like the idea of a time consuming disassemble and mash back together job :S
coooor blimey! well thanks firstly for your reply, seems like no one else had this problem. and have you any pics? well its gunna get messy anyway isn't it!
need some wide rimmage! only noticed this today but i find that a gradual motion of pedal to metal in wet weathers results to lose of grip. is this just due to the amount of torque?
lol, due to my fibreglass arches, the bottom parts of my skirts were hand painted with a brush. :-d good job its in black; which isn't that noticeable, its abit kak but no cars perfect. why don't you rattle can it black? or get some matt black.
you put the leads in yourself? i had a rough running problem with mine not so long ago, plenty of money spent on replacement parts but in the end, the garage i took mine to hadn't put the leads in properly. don't think they had the tool to do it. it was proper cowboy'd. runs smooth now!
i did this to mine, it does make engine bit edgy. Manage to use some doubled side tape to stick mine back in coz i think once its out, it no longer a tight fit.
i will check tonite since i just got my cable through post although i have been told my climatronic is indicating that there is a fault. i have been told if the climatronic flashs on start up, its trying to give you a code with the number of flashes and from then it turns into a mystery 8-|
since replacing the dodgy 20A fuse for the proper 30A, the fans seem to be on the weak side a touch. does anyone know of or experienced this prob? btw the 20A didn't blow, just melted the plastic part of fuse, thats how dodgy it was. i've experienced fans settings not working before from last car but i think this is completely different fix to that. i'm not quite as daring to poke around the electonics of the climatronic.
Cheers pete, gunna hunt down a vagcom user now. well i know someone with VAGCOM but now i can see if he really doesn't know how to or doesn't want to. not saying i'm a annoyin person or anything but he's a family man, got his own probs.
