  1. yeah, pretty cool arn't they. did you know you can get custom coloured numbers etc. i've emailed them about making mk3 ones. maybe a possible group if interest builds up.
  2. i wasn't sure where to put this thread. i came across this while browsing for LED parts. http://metal-monkey.co.uk/ stainless steel dials. Note: they don't do dials for mk3 i think. not ask yet either.
  3. what wheels are they? i think i've seen them on audi's. looks sweet btw.

    Haloween!

you need more than sweets to fight back when they start egging.
  5. thats is mint 2 pint. you have sold me a 3 box system.
  6. ic. thanks for clearing it up for me guys. 3 box jetex it is then.
  7. Found out now. the reverse light fuse had blown. must be linked to heated seats as i left mine on, on start up.
  8. whats it for? don't think i've seen it in the manual.
  9. sorrry - the 2 options are from jetex website. doesn't mention anything about 2 box or 3.
  10. i kno this is a really old thread but i didn't want to creat another since there is so many on leccy windows. all my windows have stopped working. all four. i have ruled out the connection on the doors, the relay. i'm unsure where the fuse for the electric windows are but i've replace a 5amp blade fuse in the engine bay. any ideas? btw they were working a day before.
  11. for those how has a jetex system (sorry posting on someone elses thread). i just looked for one for my vento. there are 2 options. both have same details expect the notes. one says "shiny stainless" other says "This system is for higher performance engines or customers requiring a more sporty exhaust sound." which one you guys get? IMO sounds like the 2nd 1 is one you would buy in the boy racer years if you had that kinda money to spend. not sayin i did. Milltek don't list one for ventos.
  12. this one is gunna gove you a headache. found a new bug! having miss typed something, it shoots me to a page sayin i need to fill in columns ...blah blah etc it repeats it self several times, then allows me to change details of the first car registered; which is your VR6Pete. ACTUALLY having just been back and played with it. clicking edit selected allows me to change VR6Pete's details.
  13. mine does that on standard springs. just bought myself some spring adjusters to stop the car goin so low when i have rear passengers. not actually got any results yet as i'm out of free people to test it.
  14. signed up ages ago, still don't have my card. my mate has his and yet doesn't use it coz not recognised by many companies.
  15. yeah i've been thinking about that. it must be the arch. i think there is about an inch or inch and half from contact, tires to plate. how much do you get with those spring adjusters? i know they come in pairs but little unsure how long each piece is. how many times did you manage to wrap that stuff around the coils?
  16. thats not too bad. it still happens to mine. everytime i put the foot down with rear passengers. i've hit bit of a dilema now. now that you have proven that those spring adjusters work, i dunno whether to buy these or spacers to fit my 15's on. without spacers my 15's look out of place as i have arch extensions. if i get the adjusters, its a good temp fix but winter is just round the corner. *-)
  17. my 9j wheels rub on the spring plate. its a right bugger. my mate thinks it rubbing on the arches instead. was gunna have a debate but just left it out. i receent checked to see if my 15" bbs fit to solve problem but its still quite close. its a pain the arse isn't it. i can only seat 1 meduim weight person in the back of my vento. these might help http://modifying.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.aspx?cls=ROAD&grp=RP036&pcode=S/FSF1315.
  18. i was told that was an option to sort this out. it might be just right. but arn't those tires quite hard to get hold of?
  19. anyone know whether these spring helper/adjusters will sort the scrubbing problems? http://modifying.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.aspx?cls=ROAD&grp=RP036&pcode=S/FSF1315 anyone tried? btw for those who thought this was a new thread - sorry :-p i just renamed the topic to MAYBE help others in their searches.
  20. *-) take a look at this http://www.v-werks.com/eibach-pro-spacers_c31166_33505_33505_33507.htm do a search for jetta mk3. is this the new Jetta? do i also look for mk3 golf for my vento? i also don't know which ones are better, ones where spacer is fixed in first or ones that require longer bolts :S
  21. you got it right there. just doesn't seem to be worth that much. they're an arm and a leg. cheapest i found is from rennsport. £63. buggered.
  22. Anyone know where i can get a good ones for cheap?i've read another thread and it suggests i get hub centric ones. i think i need about 25 - 30 mm spacers as my extened arches make my 15's look small. i have had a look at Rennsport and found its gunna cost me £63 with member discount. then i have to get longer bolts to fit. just alot of ££££ adding up is sending mind crazy to sort a small problem. :S
  23. i maybe tempted on a set. just for my HID's. :-p
