9j scrubbing on rear arches with pics.

its not as low as it is now in the pic. sorry for confusion. tiredness can really make you type badly. i think the wheel is catching on the arches. has anyone had anyone probs with 9" wide offset? all i know is that it starts scaping when i have passengers in the back. should the suspension be this soft? -
unsure whether i had posted this within the right section. the problem i've got is that the rear suspension/wheels on my vento is catching some how. its really beginning to cheese me off. since i've bought it, i've put the rear on standard springs replacing 40mm fk springs with fk dampers it came with. now it sits a little high but at sensible rate, i now find that it looks ok for rear passengers, but as soon as i have people sit in the rear, it becomes really low again. i'm beginning to think that it may be the 9 wide wheels (i think i mean the offset but i'm just repeating what somenoe said

i went, the visitors carpark was fine from the mud bath. lol i struggled to see any of you guys that went tho. this is my first vw event so thats prob where i went wrong. i have some pics. will upload soon.

i'm goin but don't think i'm goin to put the car on the VR6 stand, may require to leave early. So if anyone else is goin and not on stand, look out for my Red Vento.

can this be easily unplugged and replaced or am i suppose to be expecting it to be a messy job?

unsure where its called a parcel shelf but anyhows, doe anyone know how to remove the cloth trim on a vento? it looks like there are speaker holes, but i would like to know how to take the trim off to do a good job on wiring. i've also found some wire there that i want to check out before i go pulling on it.

will the rears fit? think at mo, the major part is the rear. the front will only scrape when thrown around corners, the rears hit everytime i go over a bump.

I'm having a major issue with my vento's suspension, it looks like this: would the springs from a Golf GTI 8v fit my vento? although the vento looks good at its current stance but if a pain to drive. its put a couple of cracks into the fibre glass wheel arches.

hey can anyone fill me in coz i'm a vw virgin so i've never been to this show. What are the conditions for the VR6oc stand? Does the car have to stay at the event until it ends?
