  1. dont need to drain the oil to fitt the oil gauges mate, do need an adaptor to fitt them on top of the oil filter housing thou .....
  2. the oil pressure one you will need to use a new sender unit, the voltage one you don`t need a sender and the oil temp gauge "should" come with a new sender if its a good quality one, as its need to be calibrated to the gauge from what i remember ?!?!?!
  3. when the engine is timed correctly pistons one is NOT at TDC, by the sounds of it the cams are 180 deg out as the plate should slide in easy, turn the engine over so they line up and check the pointer on the clutch through the hole in the top off the bell housing or with the mark on the crank pulley and block ..... there is a guide in the premium members section on how to time the VR6 engine correctly

  12. thermostat housing mate there should be a 4 pin brown plug there .....
  13. errr not to bad i think, the main bit is the clip on the cable going into the car can be a pain ......
  14. its either the calliper of cable mate release the cable from the calliper and make sure the mech springs back ok if it does then its a cable if not calliper time think they can be rebuilt i have only ever done it once thou !!!
  15. the first one is the oil temp sensor that are quite common for breaking like that just need a new one ... second as far as i know all the water pump pulleys are smooth no grooves and the two small coolant pipe to the throttle body the one from the expansion bottle normally goes on the back one the one closest to the bulk head ......

  17. take them to santa pod on a RWYB day and ull soon find out ...... lol what is says on paper is all well and good but the driver does make a difference reaction time etc etc .....
  18. what`s the charging rate of the alternator should be around the 14v mark ....
