Engine starting - warning sign???

ok number 1 keeps the details of your current trip it will reset if the engine is switched of for a period of more that an hour or so(not sure of exact time) number 2 keeps the details until u reset it manually the zeros reset the stats, the zero on the left resets 1 and the zero on the right resets 2. The button on the end of the stalk cycles thru the displays (u should be able to work out what these are because an arrow will point to one of the little pictures next to the mfa display telling whats currently displayed. the 2 buttons next to mfa display are for setting time (hours/minutes) the

I've recently noticed a problem when starting my vr. Ever since i bought her starting has been fine, turn the key and she sprung to life straight away. Recently however whenever i start her from cold, the starter motor is cranking the engine for 3-4 seconds b4 she catches and then she grumbles into life as though its an effort (very lumpily.) Once shes been running for a few seconds everything is fine and theres no noticable loss of power when shes warm. Also starting the engine once shes warm is all normal (starts pretty much straight away) I was wondering whether anyone else had had this o

I hate it when the police are trying to find any excuse to "do" you. I once spent about half an hour argueing with a policeman over the legality of my competely standard 1/2 smoked rear clusters on my mk2 valver. He just wouldnt accept that they were legal even tho the were e-marked and the same as on every other valver. Eventually the arguement only got ended because he was called away to do some real work.... -

Personally i dont think its the laws that are the problem, it's the courts. As long as you are thieving chav scum living off benefits and generally causing havoc you get off scot free. If however you are a generally law abiding citizen who tries to protect themselves from said chav scum you will have the book thrown at you.....sigh as far as the video goes.....absolutely hilarious:) and you must need a good sense of humor to be a police officer nowadays

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine and he made enough money out of it to buy a 2nd hand lexus so u should deffo be in for a pay out. The main thing is that you are ok, the car can be fixed...

i get 23 average around town, but on the motorway it can be 35-40 as long as u drive at a constant speed below about 75mph, above that it starts to go down.

at spring fest class H was a modified class G so i imagine its the same here

"As you can see in parts alone in the Last 6 weeks I've spent £4353 and I don't know how much in Labour." and you are asking for £3500, after spending well over that, WITHIN THE LAST 45 DAYS. tbh i would read that and not come near the car with a barge pole... it sounds fishy as a month old haddock to me. dont get me wrong, im not saying that you or the car are dodgy, but thats the way that you have made it appear in your advert... -
i dont think u can do that without removing the motor from the regulator, and u need to take out the whole assembly to remove it. if u r desperate its possible to wedge the window glass in the closed position using a block of wood the correct size inside the door. also u might wanna pull back the rubber sleeve from the wiring by the door hinge and see if the problem is just a broken wire.

this may sound a bit obvious but have u tried the dimmer controls? all the dashboard lights are conneted thru a dimmer switch next to the main headlight switch, when the dimmer is turned all the way down the dash lights are pretty much off. i only mention this as u seem really unfamiliar with the car (from yr interior lights comment)

Coolant leak - advice please

ive been having a problem with my coolant level, nothing drastic, but i check it every week or so and in that time the level can decrease from max to min. i was investigating under the bonnet today and found this: looks to me as though its coming from a heater matrix hose.... do you agree or does anyone have other ideas? also whats the best way to find out which hose is leaking (if it is a hose) seeing as the leak appears to be a minor one? thanx [

yeah it was good fun, only bad bit was when i was possibly gatso'd on the way back (i dont think it flashed but i cant be sure) lots of ppl there considering it was the 1st meet...

hmm, ill be coming round the m25 but willing to make a small detour to link up with a convoy, beats being a sad loner:) i assume this is the BP next to maccy d's??
