Just in the process of fitting my new thermostat and just wondered where the O ring on the thermostat goes (Which side ) or is it one each side Sorry to be a pain

i have just removed the front engine mount and everything was goin ok BUT one of the bolts snapped on the bottom case ! (where there is 3 bolts) will this be a problem or will it be ok with 2 bolts to secure it ! DOH

Did you use the old bolts or buy new ones ?? mine are rusty as hell and need to be changed !!

Just in the process of fitting a new thermostat and housing . However the old bolts are rusty as hell and i want to replace them all. I was wondering if anyone has any part numbers or recomendations where to get them from !

So do you earth the battery in the boot to a seat belt bolt. or do you use 2 ditribution blocks ??

mine did that for a while on my wifes astra ! all i did was unplugged the hid from the ballast box and checked it sat right and made sure it didnt have moisture in it !

i heard its a harsh ride with alot of vibration ? what are they like??

As far as i know there should be a fuse for the circuit. not sure which one it is Sorry. You could put it permanent live where the red and yellow of the stereo to the permanent LIVE of the car and then it will work all the time . Just remember to turn it off when u get out the car as you will get a flat battery !!

Sit in your car and keep putting your windows up and down and find the correct relay or find the correct fuse and take it out !!

Havent the mk3 golfs got a relay that controls the windows . I know if you lock you r car with the key and hold it in the same position it closes the windows if there open ! I wonder if it could be a dodgy relay !!

i bought mine of ebay ! check which bulb type you have (h4 /h7 etc ) and buy the correct kit ! however there is different colours of HID kits wgite , blue , purple i think. They are very easy to fit and usually only need a positive and a earth on each side . any probs ring me on 07921 519734

HIDs are the way forward ! I got a set on my vr6 and the wifes astra !

It could be that the ignition live is wired up to the wrong wire ! Or that there is a split in tsome wires and they are touchin to together ! causin a SHORT !
