  1. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?229511.0#post_229578 some goodies as needed on here....
  2. unless you go for a 3 box system rather than a 2....
  3. two key point here. VR6Lee far too much time on your hands... 2nd keep 'em coming.. My issue is I only check it every so often so half of them are always locked. I know deep down these are the best ones.... LOL
  4. you have two main options here. If you can cut/lightly chisel a v in it then you can get a flat blade in to it an try and get it that way. the other thing is those gator do-hickies. lots of little spring loaded things in a socket that let you use it on unusual size/shape bolts etc.. (you know what i mean the toy that leaves a face imprint in it made up of nails) good luck
  5. sparkz has just started a group buy on the V9s so nows the time and it is really cheap....
  6. i must start going to these shows I always miss them......
  7. you don't have a family of mice in there do you????? Sorry other than that no idea.....
  8. So that's how you warm a Farrari up then..... LOL
  9. LOL Almost - I is a capital letter and you can have hatin' as a localism....... LOL LOL Let us all face it. We all started some where and I must admit, when I see some of these fine cars on the roads it gives me the best laugh I have usually had in ages. I am sure we have all had the "what was I thinking.." moment. Remeber it all started with the tie in school and then on to hair and then those clothes you just had to have. It is the same with cars. You have to get it wrong to learn how to do it right! Don't hate - just point and laff LOL

    lost boost

did you remap for the injector upgrade???
  11. Firstly worth becoming a premium member as you'll make savings on the parts you buy/need and second it will allow you access to the guides and discussions on the build process and options... In simplistic terms. If you stay 300bhp or less there are no upgrades. after that you need to start thinking acout lowering the compression and then ARP/forged..... etc etc as is the norm. Intercooler or charge coolers then are on the list and depnding who you buy then they may be included in the package. After that the gear box is good for 350 before any upgrades are neded. that said it's the tourqe
  12. so guys buy your tax and get forced induction NOW! you may never get the chance again.... buy big and enjoy whilst you can afford it. I have been boring and preaching that they are trying to price cars off the road for years.. Put two engines in and enjoy whilst you can...... it makes sense before we are all on horse back again............ Go on do it.......
  13. Me likey... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7o88PMGFSw
  14. std are ok. otherwise look for the cooler plugs used on I think mk2 16v
  15. ok reasons for low power on stage 2 running fuel which is not super rated (hig octane) limit in air flow both in and out this could also be an air leak. check there are no restrictions on the air filter _is it cold air feed? then what size exhaust are you running and do you have a big enough outlet fuel pressure reg should be 4 bar and red tops used for injectors. the lambda must be working are you MAF set up or not? if these ae all correct then may i suggest a remap rather than using the standard chip. I know you are in greece but you may be able to get stealth in the UK to do one for you
  16. I have also managed to steal this off someone else on here who has managed to find information. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?222242 found it! And for reference: 3.25" Pulley Boost up to 6-7 psi 3.12" Pulley Boost up to 8-9 psi 2.87" Pulley Boost up to 10-11 psi 2.75" Pulley Boost up to 12 psi 2.62" Pulley Boost up to 13 psi 2.5" Pulley Boost up to 15 psi
  17. depends what BHP. In essence I would suggest that if you're charging and going for 300+ horsies then yes internals needed if you're just bolting on the charger to stage 2 then nope all good
  18. Check that the connection on the charger is sealed correctly! Then check the connection on to the throttle body. AS the air seals are key as you say. After that the main question is about remapping and which injectors/regulator are you running? The car will run rich as hell as soon as you fit these bits so unless the map is updated and timing retarded then the fuel could simply drown the spark. thats the basics for ya!
  19. head not needed at the start for stage 2! expect 250+ as it also depends on the exhaust etc etc etc. you are running. It will be fine to run on the standard map. it will run rich. do not put the injectors in until you get to stealth, it will run better for that trip and it is a 10 min thing to fit the injectors and regulator when you are there. he may throw it in if you ask nice like.. good luck
  20. I was reading this thread on another site... Sorry to redirect.... http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=139315&st=0 but thought it was intersting and wondered if anyone was in the industry and had comments??? Cheers
  21. I think this is a kit to start you off.. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/Store/Product/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=431 The other boys/n/girls will confirm....
  22. Well if the AA are to be believed..... the aim is to hit the desired speed as quickly as possible and then put in the highest gear possible. If acceleation is needed then the correct gear to get you there is best! They also mention that feathering the throttle to allow a gradule roll on or off of speed is the best! So Flat out to xmph then sit behind a lorry as they never slow unless absolutely required........ Otherwise I got better on a run after I put the charger etc on. Just goes down faster when on the loud pedal LOL LPG?????? walk/ride one day a week???
  23. http://cars.uk.msn.com/Reviews/article.aspx?cp-documentid=7675460 worth a read....
