most talk about getting to the 350 mark before starting to look at a 4" MAF... As you would then want the correct size pipes all the way along also if you see what I mean...

rodney replied to Abi's topic in Members Rides and Event Photos
I love some these cars... The more you lookl the more you see. Anyone spot the Brown mk1 vr6 on bike carbs??? Give me a couple of years to get my car sorted and it must be VR6OC trip. Beats E38 and Inters Surely.... ????? -
dont be afraid to speak to made to order people also. they may be able to replace the section only for you. You may also find that if there are offers on you can get a performance Stainless system for similar or even less. Worth a interweb search for it. If you check the FAQs or search for exhausts you'll find names of people/manufacturers and comments

[moved] Castor/Camber question!?!?!?
rodney replied to nutta's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
ok so you can adjust but it is not fully adjustable in the true sense. The rear does not have as much adjustment as the front and I think you cannot to cast on the rear... what are you trying to achieve? if you go to any prpoer 4 wheel laser set up place that has one of the all singing and dancing ones they can adjust it for you. I think mine was £50 when i did my suspension... -

well... the top cover on the door handle pops off with the aid of a tool to reveal screws. The actual panel has little two piece plastic things that hold it to the door. you have to be a little forceful and use a tool ( i use a broad-ish flat blade screwdriver wrapped in tape). As always with trip take care and use the tool to seperate the two halves. Mine has white in the door and grey on the card. It may not be the ideal way but i found that popping the white out is best but this is not always possible. so care and force at the same time. The handle is held in place by two phillips head

ok so i have now a good working knowledge of the windows. However here's my question.. Why does my window stick on auto up when i have the switch in the door handel and not when the switch is not in the door handle??? -
here is a section on the Exhausts... http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?284500 OK. One of the first things you are going to want to do is get the car sounding right. AS you can see from the lists below there are a few options for you. Most guys seem to go for the CAT back systems and they tend to have ok things to say on most. As you would expect there are favourites. But if you have had a good experience before then why not go with that. Costs can vary so surf away and you'll find a deal. If people have had issues they will let you know as this thread progresses. Of c

electric windows not working properly
rodney replied to mck684's topic in I.C.E, Security an Electrical
well i have something kinda similar but am still working on it... If you pull the panels off does it work normally? Looking for a snag point or lack of gunk on the sliders.. Are the cables all in tact? if a cable is damages it could affect the current flow to the motor Are all the contacts everywhere clean.. similar to above when you pop a few of them off you will be surprised to see how much corrosion can be inside the contacts.. hope it helps.. good luck -
the only thing is you may have a dodgey connection/ cable shorting to earth/neutral or maybe even to the key position cable..causing the actions. All I can think of off the top of my head. Worth having a read of the other threads and see what you can spot...

ok so I officially live in the twighlight zone.... I got in the car today all door panels still off and the connector still apart and yup the window went down by itself... how can this be? The brown cable is still not connected. Is it Live or return folks??? So there I am thinking I now have a window stuck down and yup I pull back up side the house and it goes up when I pressed the button. WTF???? -
Well not meaning to teach you to suck eggs..also i am assuming this is a step in car compared to your previous car... yup... well 3 key things to do.. 1 make sure your tyres are at the correct pressure. You will be surprised how much this affects everything 2 Sort the suspension (shocks and springs & ARB). To a point lower is better but the correct set up helps no end. there are threads in the members section showing how to fit and what types others are using. 3 control your right foot and steering. Over-steer is caused by your lift off into a corner as you steer quickly & wheelsp

omg the power wire has two breaks in it and i'm outta bullet connectors... the quest continues. As it is now stuck down... -
i notice a lot of death in your first part of this post... Is this a hobby.. or the good life???

This is just getting silly.... I have some of the others issues and have checked all the basics... None of the windos on the drivers side work. They do not open or close by use of just the key either... The front first. i found the brown wire broken in the door way. Fixed that and still not nothing. I have a circuit in place nad i can demonstrate the operation of the section swith the meter so i can see open and closed circuits operation as I go. If i disconnect and reconnect the larger connector block in the bottom of the door has a label 028 on mine. when I reconnect this I can see th
