    if it is a high milage box then you could think about using the slick50 type products in there as well.. I am not always a fan but have found they work well in vw gearboxes over the years...

    yes wear gloves with protection.. lubricate and allow to soak before attempting. dont do it hot. re[place your gasket.

    Plan a) Do you have a volt/amp meter??? Simply disconect the battery and check the voltage accross the battery. Is the battery swollen at all? You are looking to see 12volts or more across it. Plan Switch the head lights on. Do they come on??? Yes then you still have some charge in the battery... Have a friend turn ignition key. Do the lights remain strong or dip. If the dipping does happen then to off or not...??? If the lights dim then this shows in-sufficient charge to drive anything... try recharging and repeat test - if the same happens battery shot.     maybe. you can always pop down to kwickfit or the likes and getthem to pop it up and have a look see. They can usually show you the exploded diagram on thier pc screen so it will let you see how much/or what it is made up of.... you dont have to buy from them plus the viewing is free. you just say your gonna go around the other suppliers and might be back....

    Right well the time may be arriving where i have to take another step in technology from my gramerphone... Basically I came accros a group whilst listening to a chill session on the radio. Ten Madison by name. So i am not a fan of MP3 as it is space hungry compared to WMV type files and my hearing is shot enough for it not to matter on outright quality. As long as the sound and base is there... So I did a little search for these guys and they seem not that well known and their albums not that available... unless i want to pay £70 to Amazon for some of them. I may have to download them bu

    Scrap yards and the bay otherwise it may be worth finding a bit of pipe and popping down to the scrap yard or place that will weld and offering the bloke there a fiver to weld it in place with your help... you could cut it out and replace pipe with any piece you can find... if you put some cut outs in the replacement part and stetch it a little then you may get away with clamps and a tub of exhaust sealant/repair gunk... did this when i was a student with no money....

    is it stainless?? Does it have pitting??? I ask as in a former life when cleaning the chrome on my old motors there are a couple of products you can buy but believe it or not a watered down washing up liquid and a pan scourer (NOT To Ruff) will work wonders??? then use the chrome cleaner products after... take your time and keep a close eye on it... but it works....
