To be honest mate if you sripped the whole car out & lost between 60/80kg(and that is a major diet ) it still wouldnt make much difference,your average british bear drinking/curry eatin lad weighs 100kg/16stone so soon as you take your mate out for a blast one saturday night you car has become a little fatty again! Charge,Turbo or sell it & buy a bloody faster car! LOL :-d

v-tec is a funny thing,if its driven to the limit v-tec can be awesome but if not its complete turd(in my opinion) no low down torque at all but plenty of top end grunt if you keep the revs up! I had a play with an integra type r a few weeks back,i was pulling on him a little but when v-tec come in their was nothing in it at all.The thing i thought was funny was the fact i had a whole 1000cc's more than him & he could still scare the sh*t out of my vr :-p

Got mine already :-d New shocks & lowering springs for the vr off my lovely g/friend Nikki while she was at it she got me a new trolly jack & a pair of axle stands too! Think my Mum & Dad getting me pressed german style plates & some electric dtm mirrors. Not bad so far, still got a few weeks to get some other stuff I did say about maybe a small stage 1 charger but Nikki saw the price & said "how bout next year"... LOL

Yea i had the same with mine mate,cam sensor faulty on vag com, try cleaning it like mk3anni said & see how it goes! I got a used one off another vr lump that was hanging around at the phirm, very easy to change & makes the world of difference in reguards to restoring performance etc...

Please enybody correct me if this is wrong(& im not being funny when i say this) i dont think you can guarantee an emissions pass with a hi-flow cat *-) Remember someone talking about how there car didnt pass once with a hi flow-cat! To be honest the gains you get from a complete de-cat aint amazing so for the ripp off price someone will charge you for a hi-flow cat i wouldnt bother! Keep your cat if you really dont want the hassle come MOT time or or do the full de-cat, you can pick up de-cat pipes for as little as £40 now

I tend to get the feeling Awesome are expensive but not by much! Found a kit from bigboystoys(G-Max)for £219 which seems to be the going price, cant wait to get it done, should transform the boat Enyone know a good place to get the shocks/springs fitted, im located in essex & dont mind traveling to get a good job done?

When i back off or accelerate hard i get a loud bang that comes from my drivers side front wheel area, i also have another problem at the moment with a gear stick that shakes side to side in 1st gear, could this be related with the bang i get? I was thinking maybe it could be a mount on the box or engine *-) Has enyone ever had a similar problem & what was the verdict :-*

The beast is on 45000 now mark hope its just mounts & not enythink major, im well skint at the moment :-(
