Hi guys jst a quik question about how wide you can go with wheels really! *-) Baically im looking at buying a set of borbet wheels for my ride & im looking at doing 7.5x16 front & 9x16 rears with an et35 on both. Do eny of you know if this will work on my mk3? I know their should be no problems with the fronts but im bit unsure with the 9" rears??? Can you wide wheel boys n girls help me in the quest too getting an even fatter back end Cheers Luke

Im sorry but id have to go with earwig on this one boys,gtr all the way baby :-p Tbh when ever i look at a gts/gts-t & eny other sh*t modal other than a gtr i just look at it as though he couldnt afford the gtr(sounds snobish but its true) I can spk about both as ive driven a gts-t & gtr,both R32's.The gts-t was lightly tuned & felt like a rwd saff cossy with a crap interior! On the other hand the gtr was an experiance i will never forget,was running around 450/500 bhp with hks 2510 turbos,bigger injectors,twin hks mushroom filters,hard pipe kit,remap,boost up,think you get the po

hahaha,this makes me laugh alot :-d The bloke on their named matt82 used to live round the corner to me,me & him have lined up side by side more times than ive cleaned my teeth,his 16v is running 176bhp @ the fly,my vr eats him every time over & over Tbh its very quick when its rolling but of the line its not a touch to my old vr,by 3rd i would have always pulled about 6 car lenghts on him Cant beat the sound of the vr too,gti's sound poo,i should know after all i have got 1 :$

Yea your right boys,went & looked at one 2day on tt comps,coilovers etc really nice even though it was a high mile one,shame the chap had rolled his back arches with what i could only discribe as a fu*king sledge hammer 8-) why ??? Oh well the serch goes on & i aint a mega rush for one

Since i crashed my vr ive been thinking i cant wait to get another one but another part of me keeps looking at mk4 1.8t's I love the sound,performance etc that the vr gives but i cant help thinking if i get a 1.8t its gonna be newer,have a better fuel return off boost,much less money to tune too! A £400 revo gives you over 200bhp in an instant! But then on the other hand theirs somethink to be said about a car that sounds like a vr,love that drilling sound you get on a ramair filter ringing the vr out to 140mph Enyway its time to stop dreaming bout what i used to do in my baby &
