  3. you cant do it with a generic ebay cable. you need a ecu flasher...ive got a kwp2000 unit, and can do milage correction etc..i also have ecu files, but have left them well alone, at the moment.. it may be up for sale if your intrested..

    yeah, my tracking was that far out before i had my 4 wheel alignment done, that it tried to climb out of the rollers , and coud'nt be run,

    well, you can cheat by increasing tyre pressure's, and a few other things, but mainly its down to the rr operator, and how much loss he puts through the trasmission.. rr figures will always differ from one to another..

  16. standard impreza's aint nopthing to write home about, the standard evo is a much better drivers car...impreza's once modified however then come into thier own, running costs are pretty much the same, parts are more expensive, but only if you dont no where to look. interiors are typical jap, functional, and plain.. if you want a car to go stupidly quick once modified for not alot of money then you cant go far wrong... obviously if its speed, start with something that has a charger bolted to it, as youre gonna get more gains in the first instance for less dollar...however if your planning to sp
  17. well, the tumble dryer pipe proved problematic today , once above 5000 rpms , it wouls suck in on itself...so im gonna replace it with some aluminium corragted pipe from my local car acessory store...apart from that it works very well

  19. not that much time im afraid, but i thought why not. should solve any heat soak issues. still have'nt had time to road test it yet. and i still need to put the front end back on.. but im about to have a few beers so i may chuck it back together in the garage, and road test it tommorrow.

  21. wekk, im sure i read it could not be done, so whilst ive been fitting a new rad, i thought id give it a go. relocated horn, got rid of carbin canister, and one fabricated bracket later it fits.. pics to follow later, but it fits perfectly, and will sit directly behind the left hand air scoop.. used some tumble dryer pipe to make up the extra length of pipe i needed... road test is next , once the front is back on.. jim
  22. just found out my rad is blocked solid, flushed and reflushed...still solid, so a new rad for me...euro car parts here i come.
