  6. ask kev haywire, but im sure that the brake resovior gets in the way , so you will either need to remote mount it or find another way round it. downpipe will also be usless.
  7. how do you know what torque your going to get?? 350 bhp is around 12-15psi depending on spec.. what you got planned?? i run a open dif fon mine, no probs at all, you may want to limit boost in first and second to stop things exploding
  8. just checked and it says 14th sept everywhere else can someone book a club stand , as im on my hold from tommmorrow until next sat, so i wont be here to do it
  9. thats knda what i was thinking, but i have no proof, ill pop the plugs out after the holiday and take a look.
  10. alright guys, not this is a question for the vr turbo owners out there..currently my car should be running around 10psi..now it seems to peak at 12-13psi , and it doesnt matter what i do to the external wastegate. what happens is, you drive along and go to put your foot down, then at somepoint normally mid to high rev range, the car stutters..now depending on the temp outside and the temp of the car , its wither quite mild or very abrupt.. i have a maf clamp, which tbh, doesnt seem to be making any difference..??? now ive been out in the car with kevhaywire, and the afm was shitting itself,
  11. nothing to think about craig..just do it..
  12. as above, i know a fair few of us went last year, quite a laid back 1 day show on the sunday.. ill start a list 1. jim 2. jimbovr6 3. garth_stuttle
  13. right , stick me down as usual..as well as gav (garth_stuttle)and jimbovr6, and at least another two of my mates..1 in a evo and 1 in a clio..same as last year really, just a few have new cars, and some are now fixed !!!
  14. i may join you for a remap at stealth , if i cant sort my bucking problem..
  15. i have this on the drivers side front, my top mounts aint much older than yours, but at a guess id say top mounts again...some of the pattern ones just dont last..
  16. and make sure it includes a decent manifold..or like kev will tell ya, its gonna cost you big money time and time again. btw, my turbo would appear to be a garrett copy..and tbh id be surprised if it lasts a year..and as i do track days alot, i reckon ill be replacing it sooner rather than later..but time will tell.
  17. just had another look at that crack, its a good thing you caught it when you did, its almost all the way across :!
  18. ah man, thats hard luck, it was only last week you were showing me the other one..i cant beleive after what we talked about, this happened.. i do have two turbo support brackets which you are welcome two if you want/need them for the spa/spa copy manifold. as we discovered yours and mine are the same, just mine being in stainless. i hope you get this sorted..
  19. parcel2go may be the cheapest... 75 quid for a pallett delivery upto 500kgs.... still expenive though.
  20. thrush bearing is on the clutch mate..however if you have a high pitch wine its likely to be a noisy diff or perhaps lay shaft bearing.. does it only do it in high gears or through all 5 ?
  21. thanks for yesterday kev, ill let you know how the cars goes once ive fitted the maf clamp. and would you believe it on the way home, the cut was worse and much more voilent....... look forward to seeing the graphs.. jim
