    bungy, no need to mate, ill take him in mine. it would make more sense if you could pick roger up and take him across, it will save having to mess around with swapping cars.. is that ok with yourself ?

    right , hang on a min.. how about i pivck up mark and helen , as it s only a small detour for me. and bungy or one of the lads that way, pick up roger for me , and we all swap at thurrock. that way roger dont have to drive to colchester, as he lives in crawley ( heathrow side i think ) and bungy then dont have to drive miles out of his way ! i have a car booked for 4 people , so worst case we all swap when we get into france., weve done this before and its always been fine. ive even taken people over that arnt on my passenger list, as long as you book 4 people , you can it seems take any 4 ,

    yes nat, afiak, we are all still meeting.. im taking roger , and my mate with me, so will have a spare seat if need be. im travelling light, as ive been for the last few years and almost no what to take.

    er, well i can pick mark and helen up if need be, and or nat .. i have 3 poeple confirmed in me car but dont mind going 4 up.. probaly make me as quick as tony with all that weight. if we can all get to thurrock , we can alll swap beofre we do the crossing. if i had more seats id take more of ya.. 7 seater vw sharon vr6 turbo anyone ?

    guys, if you want a group buy to happen, and after reading everything that been posted. at least have the front to follow it through. you not only spoil it for yourselfs, but also the other members that want to benefit from reduced prices offered buy any vendor offering the service. if you have say 8 people as confirmed all bar deposits , and you need 8 to take advantage of that offer, then if 4 drop out , you potentally could pull the curtain down on the whole thing, im amazed at how many people suddenly have no money when a deposit is required tbh, i can now see why many compaines are unwill

    WELL AT THE MO , I REPLACED MY THERMOSTAT tonight, and the fucking crac k pipe is leaking, so im off to halford for 0900 hrs to get some o rings and try to make it stop leaking, i should judt be at tollgate for 1000 hrs, to convoy down .

    following on from helens workings in another thread, its gonna cost me this much roughly. at a avergae of 25 to the gallon so , 406 miles to nurbgring, from colchester, at 25 mpg avg.406 / 25 is 16.24 gallons, 16.24 * 4.5 is 73.08litres.. 1.18 (petrol ) * 73.08 is £86.23 p 172 quid, for petrol to and from without my laps ... but what a fun 800 miles i budgeted 200-225 quid for fuel so im spot on , maybe less if i can average more than 25 mpg .. which i wont if you average 30 mpg, then its roughly 143 quid return or 123 quid if you average 35 mpg.. hope that helps its all based on 400 m

    the car your taking the plate off has to be mot'd, its costs 80 quid to stick it on retention , but that only last for 2 years.. plate transfer fee is around 110 quid, and if your taking it off a car they will reasign you a new plate , tax disc and number plates.. shame its not g450 vrt, or i may have had it

    chris , if it take 3-4 of them to drop you , then they aint worth the effort. never send someone to do something you cant do yourself.. unfortunatly, they probaly have a very poor view on the cost of a life, so best leave them alone, and rest assured . they will get whats coming.. what goes around comes around
