    yep , been tried when i had my 200sx's , the s13's have choclate cranks, it works very well.. gearboxs should also work well .. i think we used scholar engineering in diss, norfolk

    no, im gonna do the strip blindfolded and use the force tbh, launch control may help, but as yet it is unproven afaik ( on road going cars ) . i dont wish to say to much as yet, but i will be in a better postion after night racing in feb and will share all then .

    im making the table as we speak , and i will leave it as a sticky thread and a pdf , which i will update afetr every 1/4 mile event.. ill have a play with various fromats and perhaps put one to the vote , and go from there

    clutches are based on torque not bhp.. im running a standard sachs and its fine.. having said that it may not last, and it depends on how you drive tthe car etc.. ive used luk, sachs, and greddy before all with different cars @ around 330 bhp and all worked fine.. the luk and sachs were standard units, the greddy was used with a exedy cover. hth

    most vrt's should do low 13's > 12's .. the better spec'd ones should do mid 12's > high 11's , i personally think for anything else you need awd or 4wd, or a perfect launch / different box etc.

    not to sure matt, think it may be me at the mo.. jake is just behind, like .2 of a sec, and gary and tony maybe .5 sec behind at the mo. i know you run 11's or ten's , but ive only got 2 wheel drive , and no launch cobtrol as yet .... i reckon a my special 3" system may make a differance ill mock up a table over the next week or so..

    ditto i owned anew car, and it was nothing but trouble.. but 184000 miles and counting with my turbo vr, brought it on 151000 ish.. and ive got a4 folders full of recipets and a stamped book.. a service history os worthless without reciepts to back it up.
