    same with my gf's corsa,only gets driven 5 miles a day,we did a motorway trip in it the other day and its like a different car now

    it stands for electronic diff lock matey,all vr's have it,when the abs sensors feel one wheel is spinning,it applys the brake to that wheel to stop you loosing traction,if u launch really hard it switches off tho lol it will make the same noise as if u brake really hard,a clicking type noise

    the only hard bit mate is getting the the rear bolt on the housing off

    yea ok mate,just thought id have a chat bout it thats all,it just interests me that cars that were built to the same spec can be so different,same with my old clio,when i ran my first 14.1 quarter mile,i had a kid come up and as how i did it so fast coz his williams can only get 15.5

    i been lookin on u tube and other vid sights and some vids of vr's seem slow,others seem fast,this is with lights mods btw,and down at pod a few years ago when i had me clio there vere vr's struggling getting into the 15's,i just confuses me a lil

    thats right mate,the abf box will have shorter gear ratio's so u will accellerate faster but as the gearing is lower the top speed will be lower

    edl cutting in mate? holds the brake on to stop wheel spin,feels like u loose power,and will make funny clicking noise which is the abs as the system works through the abs sensors

    synta silver mate 10w 40 is what ve reccomend,and it makes mine run spot on,i know some people choose other oil,but from what iv seen the vr likes it so that what i suggest mate

    yeah its weird mate lol,but generally speakin its easy once u can make the customer understand that in most cases it wont look like the pic

    word of advise mate the pics on ETKA re not really any use,as most pics are for all models,they ok if u wanna know what somethin roughly looks like but nowt good for anythin else lol,i have so many customers who stare at my screen and say 'it dont look like that' an every time i say i know it wont that is a basic pic,god vw customers are annoying
