    That much?! Wow that is a big difference then and def worth the extra time / miles. I can prob stay at a mates or if not, me and the missus enjoy camping so we might make a long weekend of it in the summer sometime and camp somewhere nearby. Cheers for the advice Pete / Buzzark

    Cheers Pete. I'll have to try and find an excuse to head over that way when i get them done then. Gonna cost me a fair bit in petrol though! Do you reckon it would still be worthwhile, taking that into account?

    Looks like i'm gonna 'do a Tottenham'.....all those high hopes pre-season of being up there with the big boys, i talked a good game, but unfortunately my team is quite blatantly not good enough! Shame there aint a Mickey Mouse cup in this thing, cos that would've kept me happy

    Would these prices be cheaper than somewhere like 'The Phirm'? Think mine will need doing soon, but both of these places are a fair trip from where i live!

    It's also the principle of it though. Some people may be able to afford it, but if it p*sses them off that much (which i'm sure it will for alot of people) then they will find a way around the system, just to stick two fingers up at the government i.e. buy a pre-2001 car which gives off as much carbon as poss!

    Do you think that with the recent changes in car tax, pre-2001 performance cars may begin to increase in value due to increased desirability? e.g. if someone currently owns an R32 and doesn't want to get ripped-off with the tax, they may look at replacing it with a supercharged VR6. :^)

    I renewed my tax yesterday and can confirm it is £185 for 12 months. Not too bad in the grand scheme of things.

    Phil, seeing as you have the best colour anyway i would DEF go for colour coded centres. Would look spot on i reckon.

    I think they are very common, so wouldn't have any myself. However, doesn't mean i don't like them. There is a reason they are common and that is cos they look good.

    At least they've kept the original look more or less the same, unlike what they did with the updated Beetle which now looks like a sack of sh*te.
