    Nice one mate. I've told Bec all about it, but she's too scared to come for a spin. She thinks my standard VR is too fast (says it makes her feel sick!), so god only knows how she would react in yours!! lol

    Ben, not been on here alot recently and i've completely missed the transformation of your car! I know you told me about the charger, but didn't know about the new rims.....they look sshhhwwweet mate :-p Gonna have to meet up ASAP after you've had the remap done so i can check out the new beast 8-|

    I would def go for house. One major issue with springs to mind for me is that living in a flat can feel cramped, no matter how spacious it is. With two kids in tow as well, i would def opt for the extra space and privacy a house gives you. Also as Goth said, open fields out the back can work in your favour if it turns out to be safe in the area.

    Looks a bit better than the mk5, but don't like either of them, to be honest. I know it sounds an obvious thing to say, but they look too new. Too similar to all the other new cars.

    Sorry guys but i'm gonna have to pull out of this last minute. My puppy is a bit sick and wouldn't be fair on him to have him in the car for such a long journey. Really gutted i'm missing this as i had it in the (imaginary) diary from ages ago Sods law this is the first time the dog his been ill! Have a great weekend anyway and i look forward to hearing about all the drunken stupidity! Safe journey everyone. -Steve

    Ah man, that sucks. Really sorry to hear about this Helen Any insurance company are obliged to pay out enough to cover the cost for you to replace your car with another car of similar age / mileage condition. I can't remember the exact term / definition for it, but you should be able to find it in the policy booklet from your insurer. If you provide examples to show a similar replacement will cost you more than £1000 then they have to pay that out for the claim. If they still don't budge, tell them you are going to write in to the 'FSA'. They will soon change their tune, as the 'FSA' c

    Nice one on picking up the R32, v.low mileage as well! I vote for selling the plate with the VR. If it was me, it would irritate me having it on a car it wasn't meant for i.e the R32, which isn't a highline. I would look for another plate for the R32, i'm sure you could find a decent one for less than the £750 you say your current plate is worth.
