    Yeah, mines the one with the Borbet A's. I had to leave Morrisons by about 4 as the pass from the missus was due to expire! They just don't get VW's!

    Morrisons was good. We had our own section, and it was a bit easier to work out who had turned up for the meet!

    Mine stays at 750 no matter what. Does ODB1/2 make much difference? Mines ODB2.

    I finally got round to doing a long overdue oil and oil filter change today. I took it out for a test run afterwards, and oh my God!!!! I don't know if I'm imagining things but it seems to be running 10 times better and even the induction roar sounds better! :-d Is this normal/likely or am I just suffering from oil poisoning????? +o(

    Hi. I have a set of deep dish rims and they need wheel spacers as the fronts are fouling the caliper. I'm looking at 15mm spacers, and have seen that you can get ones that just have longer bolts through and ones that you bolt to the hub and then bolt the wheel to, like pcd adapters. The ones that bolt to the hub are three times the price of the others! Has anybody any experience with either and can you recommend any? Cheers!

    That saves me having to start a new thread! Gav, did you just angle grind 4mm off all 4 arches? Is that ok on the rears? I want to chop mine, to save on paint etc. Is this a good idea anyone?????

    Would a Vag-Com diagnostic not pick up if it was a problem with the TB?

    Maybe its cause a Sharan door won't fit on a Golf? :-p

    My Highline has a Toad alarm and the full closure works fine, although the sunroof sometimes stays open, which is a little annoying!

    I didn't even think about the ECU, although I guess if you change any engine components its worth while. Don't thinkit will make any difference, but I'll do it anyway.

    What a difference that Ramair cone filter made!!! Had much fun driving home listening to that instead of music!!!! Fantastic day and good to meet people. Really nice cars too! Thanks for the Ramair Claire!
