ye i would say also depends on the condition of the mk1 if the mk1 isnt mint then i would prob do the swap depending on the condition of the g40saying that i dont think i have ever seen a rough g40

i use to have a polo gti and theres no way that it was any were near the golfs never mind a corrados power never mind evenly mached.

top gear in hayes are pretty good when i had my mk4 gti turbo i put an r32 kit on it and had a cat back done by them with the r32 style twin exit exhaust for 550 all in life time guarantee no inspections make out of 304 stainless steel hand made on the car while you wait pretty good watching them do it as well.

LOL. both tyres blow out from the inside? have you had the alignment camber checked recently as i see alot of cars wearing so much onb the inside that they pop.just a though of what could have caused it.

after skimming a cylinder head would this gain any extra power/torque does anybody know cheers.pete

yep could have a broken wire very very common.

with or with out archs there the same they all have the little holes under nither fot the arch all thats diff is the square or oval side repeaters i got mine from euro car parts 30 quid

used to have a G60 CORRADO they do turn heads as you just dont see them on the road but on the inside there so basic the golf every time.

nope the rear wiper will nto fail the mot same as reverse lights and front fog lights -
i take it if you change the exhaust it wouldnt have that in the after market exhaust. surely if you just simply unpluged it then it wouldnt open at all and stay shut.

rubish you dont need any vw tool. just do the following get the car off the ground remove the wheel remove the lock nut/castle nut which hold the track rod end onto the hub you may have to give the hub were the trck rod end sits a bit of a smack to release it then remove the big nut 30/32mm which hold the shaft then pull the shaft out of the hub then the the cv joint will knock off of the shaft then knock back on then in reverse order to put back.

ye top 1s for me two dont like the others either they look a bit like the mk5 gti motorsport wheels.

mines droped 60mm on spax springs been like that for about a year no probs and stick to the road/corners like glue.and i have 17in TT comps on there.

give the screw a hard smack with a hammer wich should shock the screw works for me at work if not then you will need an impact driver. -
