    just out of intrest does the corrado 2.9 engine go stright into the golf obd1. are all the wireing etc the same is it a stright swap no mods needed

    depends on the year i think mate some can only be reset with the diagnostic tool.

    just what i was about to say if you cant see any water around the ov places then i would say its the head gasket is there excess white smoke from the exhaust it would be very steamy like a kettle boiling water.lol if you know what i mean

    o yes and going by the pictures you supplyed it does look like the pump is letting go of the water.

    the engine does need to be raise but its only means talking the 2/3 bolts out of the front engine mount and jacking the engine up to gain access to the pump easy mate but as long as you happy thats all that matters

    if so mate i wouldnt get it done there i did mine last year it cost me 30 pounds and i fitted it tolk about an hour easy job to do mate and no need for a ramp or any thing.

    220 plus vat is that just to do the water pump.

    how much is it to get the LSD and the 3.6 final drive done and were would you get it done i take its the gearbox

    yes mate you are best to do all the above at the same time while the box is out. i am guessing you mean if any body has had their chains etc done and how much it would cost you to have it done. at guess i would say around the grand mark but you are best to give them a call and ask them .

    yes still does it even if you try pressing he throttle at the same time and the alarm isnt factory its an autowatch after market when it does it i have tryed reseting the alarm but srill does it but if it is faulty i suppose it wount work. i will have to try and get it on a vag com and see if it throws any hing up.

    to be hounest i havent checked anything but it does seem to be when the engine is cold but i did change the the temp sensor about 8months ago(thats the blue one) but i was also thinking myself that it could be the alarm playing up if i put it on a vag-com should this show the faults ov if its the alarm it wount but if its any thing to to with the relays etc?
