I dunno guys.I had a run in with an Jag XK8 once in my MK2 VR and he wasnt pullin away that much, and trust me he was tryin,he threw the mobile down in anger as i was overtaking him on the roundabout and goin up the next stretch of motorway quicker than him lol. Good on ya fella
I'm having the same trouble with my MK2 Golf VR6 conversion and would highly recommend NOT driving any distance whatsoever due to the fact i have just drove110/120 miles and from it backfiring and overfuelling my backbox heated up to such a high temp is was glowing bright red and set fire to the underseal next to my fuel tank!!!!!!!! :-# I haveant as of yet cleaned my ISV,Throttle Body or MAF yet but it's the first thing i'm doing tommorow!! Please be carefull and dont let what happened to me happen to you. Oh and any help with the above question would be greatly appreciated by me also
I am sure i read somewhere that there is adjustment in the cable change linkage and wondered if anybody could help me with this? My car is now starting to struggle into gears and also the bite is rite at the floor i.e 5mm lift and it goes!! It does seem to be worse when its warm so could prob do with changing the box oil aswell but wanna try adjustment first. Cheers in advance
Dont like brentacre. Was with them when i first got my MK2VR then the renewal came through so i foned around and Adrian Flux were doi me a cheaper quote and it was fully comp!!
Ive seen alot of the GT35R roller bearing turbo used for big brake either that or the GT30R i think it is or GT32R summit like that. I'm sure someone will keep you rite :$
VR6Greece i fitted a Techniclutch to my old RS Turbo runnin 20P.S.I of boost and never slipped once.Best £120 ive ever spent on a car.No juddering or anything. Was going to try them for my VR :-p
Vdubgirl using alot of hardner in the laquer causes it to be tougher yes,but prone to chipping alot easier.Best solution againt stone chips on the front end is to add flexibilizer to the laquer and basically stones then bounce of kinda. Also with extra hardener in laquer it tends to make it go milky coloured after too much sunlight. And in respect of the original thread as sanky said get them to do it coz they aint chargin alot of money and will prob do a better job than you would.
