    the stretch of A505 dual carriage way between the A10 and the A1198 has laybys both sides other than that, as revivals is only a few mins from the A10/A505 roundabout, there's no easy stopping enroute until you are practically there.

    if the filter was ripped off it might have damaged the maf, they are fairly delicate.

    the wire starts at one and joins up three sides of a isometric trapoidzoid it's easier to see from one end. From the other there is a single blade looking thing; a thermistor for measuring the air temp. ebay.

    yep, just checked one and there should be four connections joined by three wires.

    sounds MAF related Are you running MAF then S/C or S/C -MAF? Did the filter just fall off or did it get clobbered?

    usual plan for north weald is to meet at the MaccyD's just off J7 of the M11, the North Weald junction. if the weather's good I'll be interested. Usually just full of the same cars as Ed38. But this year I didn't see them.. That's if it survives the rolling road day. Mmmm, perhaps I shouldn't have said that...

    that's the stage I'm at. Same symptoms even after changing ISV for a brand new one. The TPS of the 16Ver luckily fits the later TB I have hanging around. Only prob is getting the current one off :-( I did notice whilst fettling that if I unplug the TPS it is very erratic and often stalls. However it then runs a bit better when I reconnect it as if the ECU knows not to 100% believe the signals it's getting. When I clear the error the hunting starts again.

    last year we didn't get a stand, keeping a low profile after 'discussions' on Ed38. We just turned up early and parked up. We where right next to the club area anyway, possibly in a better position to the previous year.
