    last time i tried none of my local tyre places sold winter tyres. I do have chains though. a blacket / mat, extra winter screen wash, torch and gas stove ready to go if I do need to travel in these conditions. Luckily I still don't ;-)

    I have found out that I can fit my big trolley BBQ in the boot of the golf. coolio, it'll be good to have you along.

    I'm lucky in that mine is just a hobby so I don't have to rely on it. Meaning it's love all the way. :-D If it goes wrong it just stays in the garage until fixed.

    AFAIK Chris you'll just need to swap over the intake manifold, throttlebody and associated intake pipework

    ah so I guess that doesn't include VR keys then as they need the transponder in them for the ECU immobiliser cut off ?? yours doesn't ;-)

    From the title I thought this was going to have something to do with a VR6 caravelle recently on ebay ;-)

    not sure mate. my guess would be the cam sensor. can rob you of 30 horses as the ECU has to go into 'limp/guess' mode.

    me neither. you get better value for money that way ;-) I've only played the demo of the first but am old enough to remember the 2D jungle platform game it evolved from :-o

    Only just started here and is still very light. But heavy enough for everything to grind to a halt no doubt. The Germans must just piss themselves at how bad we are!

    don't think the mk2 rack mounts will fit a mk3. My similair mk2 / mk3 kit had two sets. Also the rear axle ones are bigger on a mk3
