    mine almost failed last year on an abs light that wouldnt go out! then it did! been on vag com and it says n/s/r wheels sensor, it came back on after the mot and the lights been on since!!! next job to do!!!! as said above the mot`er should check every warning safety device, if they dont its not worth getting an mot!!!!!

    have you changed the radius arm bushes? the top mount bushes? ball joints and roll bar drop links also fail all these can have an affect the way the car runs on the road even if the camber and track are set correctly, the radius arm bushes are a common problem, none of these items are very expensive to put right

    my highline without any engine mods, only exhaust does 15-20 ish mpg around town and have seen upto 35 mpg on motorway use at sensible speeds! anything above 85 and it guzzles it!! not that i ever go over 70 as its against the law init

    women probably are safer drivers in general, they drive slower, they dont do all that male "willy waving" boy racer stuff (well most of em dont ) the female drivers only downfall is that i can 100% gaurantee if they do crash it will be someone elses fault!!!! and that they couldnt see prior to pulling out on you sound of me now running for cover!!!

    fucking hell! what are some people on? i nearly got wiped out by a midget italian woman in a new fiesta once, the car didnt have a single panel that wasnt dented! and it was only about 3 months old, the incident occured when she pulled straight out of a junction! didnt look at all and didnt notice the Marked police car i was driving towards her! when she stopped after about 2 miles of blue lights and sirens! she claimed she hadnt noticed me!! i suggested if she were to look out of her windows or use mirrors she may have! her explanation was that she wasnt a good driver as she couldnt judge eng

    i just sold my red rallye last year, it only had 8x17`s on it and they where f*c*ing close to the arches on H&R coilovers, i think it would foul on the rears at the end of the sills during suspension travel , the front would be an issue too, it may make it look like its on stilts! !amazed and it could cause problems with the diff/prop shaft?????? expensive for a set of wheels!! ( ( with the right mods they would look good but i still think rallyes look best on a set of polished deep dish 9x16`s, imo 18`s are too big for a mk2, even a mighty rallye

    low mileage isnt necessarily good sometimes! it may mean some old biddy has been driving it round for 2 minute journeys all its life which can do more harm than good to an engine! be guided by the cars condition and what the car runs like and sounds like bills and reciepts for work are good pointers if its had regular oil and service parts

    i reckon 18`s on a rallye will cause major agro! it would look good but i doubt they will go under the front or rear arches witout some heavy mods, might make it handle shite too on a mk2 set up
