you'll proberbly find the cheap ones cause more damage, they will scratch the paint and give you swirl marks ~ its elbow grease or pay a detailer to do it while you kick back and sip a cool beer
the forecast looks like its gonna be 'warmer' !amazed so the gritters shouldn't be out, i would be seriousely miffed if my newly painted car got chipped ~

RAC ones arre generally buffers rather than polishers. polishers need to be used with 'extreme' care as you can go straight through the lacquer and paint without even noticing. practice on an old car to gain the skill and you can fuck up without it mattering.
car is now in the bodyshop for a few bits: annoying dent on the leading edge of the bonnet front arches ground down to stop the rubbing stone chips on front grille then respraying bonnet, both front wings and front grille

its the glorious feeling after washing the car when you stand back and marvel at your workmanship we all know the feeling and i'm sure you all have pics so post yours

as seademon says, the vr is a 'wet' engine and condensation is par for the course.doesn't sound like anything to worry about, change the oil and filter and take it for a good hour journey on the motorway, you'll proberbly find the cream disapears.
